Navajo Stirling Faces Adversity, Still Finishes Ion Cutelaba

Ion Cutelaba gave a tough test to Navajo Stirling; however, Stirling came out with another finish, remaining undefeated in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 119.

Cutelaba looked for a powerful shot early before the two battled against the fence in a clinch. There, Cutelaba locked Stirling in a guillotine. Despite Stirling’s resistance, Cutelaba brought Stirling to the ground and looked to get into mount.

Stirling escaped, and the two were even on the feet, though Cutelaba seemed more effective by getting on the inside.

The two traded to start the second round until Stirling got the takedown, looking to take the back. Cutelaba, however, reversed position and looked to end the fight on the ground again before Stirling got back up.

Cutelaba brought the fight back to the ground, but Stirling continued to wrestle. Eventually, he got into the top position and did damage with his fists, raining down blows while Cutelaba just took them while seated. The referee was forced to step in, giving Stirling another victory.
