UFC 326 Odds, Picks & Best Bets: Predictions for Every Fight on the Card

UFC 326 is hours away, and we’re that much closer to the highly-anticipated showdown for the BMF title featuring two of the UFC’s most popular athletes. Get the latest betting odds and best bets from MMANews!

In the main event of UFC 326, Max Holloway puts the BMF title on the line against Charles Oliveira.

Holloway, a former featherweight champion, claimed that symbolic belt with his highlight performance against Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. He then became the first in UFC history to retain the championship by defeating Dustin Poirier at UFC 318.

Oliveira, the former lightweight champion, comes into this contest off a submission win over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Rio in October.

The co-main event will be a middleweight battle that features Caio Borralho and Reinier de Ridder. Both men are coming off losses, to Nassourdine Imavov and Brendan Allen, respectively, and trying to stay relevant in the UFC middleweight title picture.

Other fights scheduled for the main card include a bantamweight bout between Rob Font and Raul Rosas Jr., a lightweight contest featuring Drew Dober and Michael Johnson, and a middleweight matchup featuring Gregory Rodrigues and Brunno Ferreira.

On top of that, UFC 326 will be the first to get a live spotlight on CBS, with the network broadcasting the final hour of the prelims and the first hour of the main card.

    UFC 326 Betting Odds

Here are the latest betting odds for UFC 326, as of 2:30pm ET, courtesy of DraftKings:

Preliminary Card (Paramount+, 5:30 PM ET)

Light Heavyweight: Luke Fernandez (-218) vs. Rodolfo Bellato (+180)
Light Heavyweight: Rafael Tobias (-180) vs. Diyar Nurgozhay (+150)
Flyweight: Sumudaerji (-218) vs. Jesus Aguilar (+180)

Preliminary Card (Paramount+, 7 PM ET [CBS 8 PM – 9 PM ET])

Flyweight: Cody Durden (+142) vs. Nyamjargal Tumendemberel (-170)
Featherweight: Ricky Turcios (+154) vs. Alberto Montes (-185)
Middleweight: Donte Johnson (-900) vs. Cody Brundage(+600)
Bantamweight: Cody Garbrandt (+136) vs. Xiao Long (-162)

Main Card (Paramount+, 9 PM ET [CBS 9 PM – 10 PM ET])

Middleweight: Gregory Rodrigues (-162) vs. Brunno Ferreira (+136)
Lightweight: Drew Dober (-130) vs. Michael Johnson (+110)
Bantamweight: Rob Font (+220) vs. Raul Rosas Jr. (-270)
Middleweight: Caio Borralho (-250) vs. Reinier de Ridder (+205)
Lightweight: BMF Championship: Max Holloway (-215) vs. Charles Oliveira (+165)

UFC 326 Predictions & Best Bets

Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira: Oliveira should have the grappling advantage in this one, but how much of it will he actually use? He’s been focusing on his striking during training, but the more he has stand-and-bang trade-offs with Holloway, the more risky it’s going to get for him. Holloway should win this matchup, but Oliveira shouldn’t be counted out completely — and that should be reflected in this fight’s best bet. (Prediction: Holloway) (Best Bet: Over 2.5 rounds [-130]

Caio Borralho vs. Reinier de Ridder: Both of these men need a win, and I fully expect RdR to try and use his grappling to take control of this fight from up top. Borralho is the better of the two when it comes to striking; however, even if the fight goes to the ground, Borralho might be the more well-rounded fighter, and that gives trouble to de Ridder. I wouldn’t rule de Ridder out, but Borralho feels the more comfortable fighter when selecting a winner. (Prediction: Borralho) (Best Bet: Fight goes the distance [-150])

Rob Font vs. Raul Rosas Jr.: This is going to be a true test for Rosas Jr. Font might have losses in three of his last five and four of his last eight, but he’s a tough and durable fighter. He’s the level of competition Rosas has never faced before. Rosas won’t finish Font, but in this striker vs. grappler matchup, I expect Rosas’ youth and grappling abilities to do enough to get the nod. (Prediction: Rosas) (Best Bet: Rosas via decision [-120])

Drew Dober vs. Michael Johnson: These two are veterans who can bring the fight to a halt at any point. Hopefully this one ends being a fun striking battle, but this fight is a risky play for a bet, even if Johnson is the better fighter by the statistical numbers. Both of these guys are tough, but perhaps one shot ends up compromising one of these two to the point they don’t see the final bell. (Prediction: Johnson) (Best Bet: Fight does NOT go the distance [-150])

Gregory Rodrigues vs. Brunno Ferreira: Rodrigues was knocked out by Ferreira when these two faced off for the first time at UFC 283. “Robocop” should be smarter here and not let himself get into a wild firefight. These two have power that the fight could fall either way, but they’re tough enough and smarter to one another now that this one won’t be as quick a finish. (Prediction: Rodrigues) (Best Bet: Over 1.5 rounds [-110])

Cody Garbrandt vs. Xiao Long: Garbrandt has fought the tougher, championship-level competition, and Long is coming in off a long layoff. But it’s clear Garbrandt’s best days are behind him. Garbrandt will look to use his reach, while Long will look to get inside and make things a brawl. Taking Garbrandt is risky as heck, but this fight should be winnable for him. If not, perhaps it really is the end of the road for “No Love.” (Prediction: Garbrandt) (Best Bet: Garbrandt moneyline [+140])

Donte Johnson vs. Cody Brundage: After a strong performance on Dana White’s Contender Series last year, Donte Johnson had a strong UFC debut with his submission of Sedriques Dumas. Now he takes on Cody Brundage, who is a finisher in his own right but has been used (and is being positioned here) as someone for up-and-comers to get a win over. There aren’t too many great betting plays here given the extremely wide odds, so we’ll go with the “safest” one. (Prediction: Johnson) (Best Bet: Johnson via KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 [+120])

Ricky Turcios vs. Alberto Montes: Turcios has had a tough going for him since winning TUF, while Montes makes his UFC debut here coming in off a strong performance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024. Montes will be able to use his grappling to dictate the pace in this one, and he’ll be dangerous on the ground. It’s just a matter of if Montes can get the finish. (Prediction: Montes)(Best Bet: Montes via submission [+250])

Cody Durden vs. Nyamjargal Tumendemberel: Durden has faced some decent flyweight competition, but he’s lost five of his last six. Tumendemberel, meanwhile, has impressed on Road to UFC and fought Carlos Hernandez in a close split decision loss at UFC Macau in November 2024. Durden might try to not take chances here knowing his UFC tenure might be in jeopardy, but Tumendemberel is just too talented a prospect. (Prediction: Tumendemberel) (Best Bet: Under 2.5 rounds [-135])

Sumudaerji vs. Jesus Aguilar: This feels like a striker vs. grappler battle, with Sumudaerji having the greater height, reach, and striking numbers, while Aguilar is the grappler between the two. A slight edge might go to Sumudaerji’s way, but this is a fight you might not see a finish in. (Prediction: Sumudaerji) (Best Bet: Fight goes the distance [-160])

Rafael Tobias vs. Diyar Nurgozhay: Tobias is a strong grappler, but Nurgozhay has shown great defense in that area. The problem? Tobias is probably the better of the two in terms of striking as well. Nurgozhay’s takedown defense stats can’t always be perfect, and this fight might be the biggest threat to that. (Prediction: Tobias) (Best Bet: Tobias via submission +165)

Luke Fernandez vs. Rodolfo Bellato: Bellato’s had a string of tough luck in the UFC, and now he’s being set up against a rising up and comer who’s developing into a well-rounded combatant. Might be another tough night at the office for Bellato. Fernandez is active as a grappler and can change the fight’s momentum with one solid punch. After needing just 15 seconds to earn a UFC contract against Rafael Pergentino, look for another strong performance from the former CFFC champion. (Prediction: Fernandez) (Best Bet: Fernandez to win via KO/TKO/DQ in Round 1 [+240]))

  • Arman Tsarukyan vs. Georgio Poullas Rematch Set For RAF 07

Arman Tsarukyan vs. Georgio Poullas Rematch Set For RAF 07

After the chaos that unfolded in the immediate aftermath of their wrestling matchup last weekend, Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas will be running it back sooner than some might have expected.

A rematch between Tsarukyan and Poullas has been confirmed to headline RAF 07, which takes place on March 28 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

The RAF confirmed the news on their social media channels on March 6.

The two appeared to be booked for a grappling match in Hype FC Brazil on March 11. Poullas, however, withdrew the bout, claiming not to have signed a written contract and preferring a second encounter to take place in RAF.

The two competed in a featured contest at RAF 06 on February 28, with Tsarukyan winning the bout 5-3.

What took place after the bout, however, was the bigger story, as Tsarukyan pushed Poullas down. He was about to throw punches before security and RAF officials got between the two.

Video footage from the bout showed Poullas landing punches and slaps in close on Tsarukyan, causing the UFC fighter’s team to cry in protest.

Tsarukyan has shown no remorse for his post-fight actions; meanwhile, Poullas claims to have been the true winner for scoring a true takedown in that contest.

  • Dana White Teases Two Title Fights, Name For UFC White House Card

Dana White Teases Two Title Fights, Name For UFC White House Card

UFC CEO and President Dana White promised that during UFC 326 fight weekend, we would get more information about the UFC event taking place on the lawn of the White House on June 14.

While no full details have been confirmed as of the evening of March 6, White has posted a tease in anticipation of the card’s reveal.

The image shared by White on social media shows him holding a paper to block the card listing in the war room of the UFC headquarters. The image teases that the card will be topped by two title fights.

In addition, the name of the card has been confirmed to be Freedom Fights 250, as the event will be held as part of a year-long celebration for the United States’ 250th anniversary.

U.S. President Donald Trump first confirmed the event during a U.S. Independence Day event last year, and since then, fighters aplenty, including Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, have expressed their desire to be part of the event.

The card has been previously stated to have six or seven fights, rather than a full traditional UFC numbered card lineup. During an interview with Nina Drama, White even teased that one planned fight had just fallen out recently.

  • Jake Paul’s MVP Lands Multi-Show ESPN Deal, Debuts April 17 at MSG

Jake Paul’s MVP Lands Multi-Show ESPN Deal, Debuts April 17 at MSG

Jake Paul and MVP Promotions have been on a mission to place a bigger spotlight on women’s boxing, and they have taken the next step.

In a press conference held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 6, MVP Promotions announced the launch of a new women’s boxing promotion known as MVPW.

As part of MVP’s focus on women’s boxing, MVPW has signed a multi-year agreement with ESPN to air women’s boxing cards on its platform in the United States.

Furthermore, MVP has signed a three-year deal with MSG Entertainment to host several cards at the arena.

“Since inception MVP has strategically focused on creating an umbrella brand as the global home for women’s boxing, with the best fighters in the world, that engages existing boxing fans and attracts untapped fan demographics that embrace women’s sport, and today, we proudly enter a new era,” Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, MVP Promotions’ co-founders, said in a statement.

“Over the past five years, we have invested heavily in female athletes, delivered historic and record-breaking events, and proven that these athletes belong on the biggest stages in the sport. Partnering with ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, to launch MVPW across its platforms is a historic milestone, and aligning with the world’s most iconic venue, Madison Square Garden, as we introduce the brand in the U.S. reinforces the scale and ambition behind what we are building.”

The full press conference from MVP Promotions can be viewed in the video player below.

MVPW’s inaugural event will take place on April 5 in London. The headline bout will see a lightweight title unification match featuring WBC champion Caroline Dubois and WBO champion Terri Harper.

MVPW 2 on April 17 will be the first of the aforementioned MSG cards, taking place in the venue’s InfoSys Theater. That card will be topped by WBA, WBO, IBF super featherweight champion Alycia Bumgardner defending against Bo Mi Re Shin. The fight will be held with 10 three-minute rounds.

MVPW 3, which will be held on May 30 in El Paso, Texas, will see former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm return to the squared circle to challenge Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight championship. Han defeated Holm via a technical decision in January after the fight was stopped due to an accidental headbutt.

  • UFC 326 Loses One Fight During Official Weigh-Ins

UFC 326 Loses One Fight During Official Weigh-Ins

We now find ourselves less than 24 hours away from UFC 326, which takes place on March 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

During the UFC 326 official weigh-ins, it was announced that a bout between Jeong-yeong Lee and Gaston Bolaños was scrapped due to weight management issues with Lee.

All other fights are locked in and ready to go.

You can view the UFC 326 official weigh-ins and ceremonial weigh-ins in the video players below.

The main event will be an exciting and highly-anticipated battle over the BMF title, as Max Holloway defends against Charles Oliveira in a lightweight contest.

Holloway claimed the symbolic championship at UFC 300, courtesy of his spectacular knockout of Justin Gaethje. He then became the first to successfully defend the title when he defeated Dustin Poirier in their trilogy bout at UFC 318, sending “The Diamond” off into retirement.

Oliveira, the former lightweight champion, comes into this bout off his submission victory over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Rio this past October. He is 3-3 since losing the lightweight title on the scales and unsuccessfully trying to reclaim it against Islam Makhachev at UFC 280.

The co-main event will see Caio Borralho and Reinier de Ridder both look to rebound from tough losses while trying to stay relevant toward the top of the middleweight title picture.

  • Francis Ngannou, PFL Part Ways After Just 1 Fight In 3 Years

Francis Ngannou, PFL Part Ways After Just 1 Fight In 3 Years

The relationship between the PFL and Francis Ngannou reached an end when the two sides cut ties on the morning of March 6, bringing a disappointing end to a massive contract signed.

The news was first reported by Mike Pendleton of Sherdog.

The PFL then confirmed Ngannou’s departure in an official statement released during the day.

“The Professional Fighters League has made the decision to part ways with Francis Ngannou,” the statement reads. “We have great respect for Francis as both an athlete and a person, and we wish him success in the next chapter of his combat sports career. The PFL remains focused on recruiting and signing the best athletes in the sport while continuing to deliver world-class competition for fans around the globe.”

The PFL signed Ngannou to a massive contract in May 2023, four months following Ngannou’s public departure from the UFC as heavyweight champion. The contract, for the then-PFL “Super Fights” pay-per-view division, had various provisions that included Ngannou guaranteeing opponents a $2 million minimum payday, as well as serving on the PFL’s global advisory board and as chairman of PFL Africa.

Ngannou was allowed to compete in boxing as part of this deal as well. He fought twice in the boxing ring, going to a decision in a loss to then-WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and getting knocked out by former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Ngannou only fought once in the PFL, knocking out Renan Ferreira for the PFL Super Fights heavyweight championship at the 2024 Battle of the Giants event.

The tumultuousness in the relationship between Ngannou and the PFL was also seen when he did not appear for the first two PFL Africa events last year. Ngannou openly criticized the promotion for not focusing on Africa-born fighters.

In recent months, the PFL has gone through a restructuring period, parting ways with various members of their organization that included longtime president Ray Sefo and founder Donn Davis, who stepped down from his role.

Ngannou is an immediate free agent, able to sign with whatever promotion he chooses.

  • Dan Bilzerian Called Out by Israeli MMA Fighter Haim Gozali After Threatening to ‘Kill Israelis’

Dan Bilzerian Called Out by Israeli MMA Fighter Haim Gozali After Threatening to ‘Kill Israelis’

Israeli MMA fighter and 6th-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Haim Gozali has issued a direct no-holds-barred fight challenge to social media personality Dan Bilzerian after Bilzerian posted a clip stating he would “sign up tomorrow and go put boots on the ground and go f***ing kill Israelis.”

In a video posted to his social media accounts, Gozali volunteered himself as the first opponent to test whether Bilzerian’s combative bravado extends beyond the internet. “Let’s see if he’s a hero only online, or also in reality,” Gozali said in the post, which quickly amassed over 1,000 likes and more than 100 replies, with many supporters tagging Bilzerian as a “coward” and amplifying the challenge.

Bilzerian’s latest remarks are consistent with a pattern of escalating anti-Israel rhetoric. The former social media personality has, in recent years, publicly called Hamas a “resistance organization,” praised its late leader Yahya Sinwar as a “hero,” denied the scale of the October 7 attacks, and stated on a major television appearance that “Jewish supremacy is the greatest threat to the world today.” He has also made inflammatory claims blaming Israel for the assassination of JFK, the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, and other global events.

This is not Gozali’s first clash with Bilzerian. The Israeli veteran previously challenged Bilzerian after the influencer called out Rabbi Shmuley — a man more than 20 years his senior — to an MMA fight. Gozali has also extended challenges to Bilzerian ally: Jake Shields, Holocaust-denier.

The episode highlights a growing trend of combat sports figures entering politically charged public disputes, as tensions between online bravado and real-world accountability continue to generate viral moments across social media platforms.

  • Tom Aspinall Signs with Eddie Hearn’s New Matchroom Agency

Tom Aspinall Signs with Eddie Hearn’s New Matchroom Agency

Eddie Hearn has landed one of combat sports’ biggest names for his newly launched Matchroom Talent Agency, signing UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall as its first major client, it was announced Thursday.

The deal pairs the 31-year-old British champion — currently sidelined and recovering from a serious eye injury — with Hearn’s new management venture, a separate arm from his well-established Matchroom Boxing promotional outfit. The signing marks a significant power play for Hearn in the combat sports world and represents a new business direction beyond boxing promotion.

    Tom Aspinall ‘Looking’ Ahead

The news comes four months after Aspinall’s ill-fated title defense against Ciryl Gane, which ended in a no-contest in October 2025 after the Frenchman landed a double eye poke that left Aspinall unable to continue. Aspinall was subsequently diagnosed with bilateral traumatic Brown’s syndrome — a condition affecting ocular mobility — and has undergone surgery on both eyes. As recently as February 2026, Aspinall disclosed he still had a persistent black spot in his vision and had not yet been medically cleared to return to training.

    TKO vs. Matchroom: Shots Fired

The signing has an unmistakable political dimension. Hearn had been publicly critical of the UFC’s treatment of Aspinall in the aftermath of the Gane no-contest, with UFC CEO Dana White controversially suggesting Aspinall was unwilling to continue the fight and questioning the severity of the injury. Hearn called out White’s handling of the situation on multiple occasions, stating White “humiliated” the champion. Aspinall’s father also disclosed publicly that his son has approximately three fights remaining on his current UFC contract.

The timing of the signing also comes on the heels of Hearn losing one of his top Matchroom Boxing stars, Conor Benn, who recently departed for an eight-figure deal with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing. Hearn responded by launching the Matchroom Talent Agency — a management-focused entity — and wasted no time securing Aspinall as its marquee first signing.

Aspinall remains the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion. His next title defense, return timeline, and future contractual situation with the UFC remain unknown pending his full medical clearance.

  • Max Holloway Designs UFC Gloves for Good Charity Program

Max Holloway Designs UFC Gloves for Good Charity Program

Max Holloway, current BMF titleholder, is designing custom UFC gloves for the launch of the UFC’s ’Gloves for Good’ program on March 7, 2026, at UFC 326. The event will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The program aims to raise funds for underprivileged youth in Hawaii.

Holloway will defend his BMF title against Charles Oliveira at UFC 326. The former featherweight champion’s custom gloves, designed with artist Ant Kai, will be the program’s debut piece. Fans can donate between $10 and $500 through AllTroo for a chance to win the gloves and an all-expenses-paid trip to Holloway’s next fight.

“It’s an honor to be the first UFC athlete to design a pair of custom gloves as part of the Gloves for Good program,” Holloway said in a press release obtained by MMA News. “The funds raised from this campaign will help underprivileged youth in Hawaii via my new foundation.”

According to the UFC announcement, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit underprivileged youth in Hawaii through the Holloway Foundation and the UFC Foundation.

The UFC is tying fight-week spotlight to community impact by turning fight gear into a fundraising vehicle.

  • Rising MMA Fighter Jorge Pederson Killed in Austin Bar Shooting

Rising MMA Fighter Jorge Pederson Killed in Austin Bar Shooting

Jorge Pederson, a 30-year-old rising MMA fighter from Glenwood, Minnesota who was weeks away from his professional debut, was killed in a mass shooting at an Austin, Texas bar early Sunday morning. He was one of three victims.

According to CBS News, Pederson had relocated to Texas just two weeks prior. A graduate of North Dakota State University, he co-owned a moving company called Metro Movers and frequently recruited fellow fighters to work alongside him.

He joined Academy Martial Arts Gym in 2020 and quickly distinguished himself as a dedicated and fearless competitor. His family said he was “passionate about Muay Thai and MMA” and had been scheduled to turn pro in May 2026.

“Competing, learning from those competitions, taking on whatever person was in front of him. He didn’t pick and choose,” said Greg Nelson, owner of the Academy.

Friends and training partners remembered Pederson for his humor, generosity, and work ethic. “He had a super dry sense of humor, and he was always trying to make people laugh,” said Andy Grahn, who first met Pederson at a grappling tournament when Pederson was 15.

“Jorge accomplished in a short amount of time what a lot of people don’t get to do. He always chased his dreams and never let anything stop it,” said Joshua Fleck, an employee at Pederson’s moving company.

An online fundraiser has been established to help Pederson’s family cover funeral expenses, with close to $20,000 raised as of this writing.

  • Poullas Out of Grappling Match with Tsarukyan, Wants RAF Rematch

Poullas Out of Grappling Match with Tsarukyan, Wants RAF Rematch

Less than 24 hours after it was first announced, Georgio Poullas has bowed out of a submission grappling match that was scheduled against Arman Tsarukyan.

Per Ariel Helwani, with confirmation from RAF executive Chad Bronstein, the grappling contest was scheduled for March 11 at Hype FC Brazil, but Poullas has pulled out.

Poullas, instead, is pushing for a wrestling rematch with Tsarukyan at an upcoming RAF event.

During an interview with Helwani earlier in the day, Poullas noted that a contract had not been formally signed for the grappling match with Hype FC Brazil.

Tsarukyan won the contest at RAF 6 on February 28, scoring a 5-3 win. But the story from that event took place immediately after the match, when an altercation between the two broke out.

Tsarukyan shoved Poullas down and looked to throw down punches before RAF officials intervened to separate the pair. Tsarukyan has claimed that it was in retaliation to dirty tactics employed by Poullas during the bout, including punches and slaps while in close.

Video footage showed Tsarukyan’s corner crying foul at Poullas’ actions.

Tsarukyan expressed no remorse for his actions, while Poullas called Tsarukyan a “little b****” and claimed he was the true winner for scoring a legitimate takedown in the match.

RAF officials have expressed disappointment that the brawl occrued; however, the promotion has not handed down any punishment toward Tsarukyan or Poullas as of press time.

  • Conor McGregor Confirms UFC Return Negotiations, Targets Summer Comeback

Conor McGregor Confirms UFC Return Negotiations, Targets Summer Comeback

Conor McGregor has confirmed he is in active negotiations with the UFC for a summer return, telling fans on Instagram that a deal is in the works — though the exact venue remains up in the air.

“I am in negotiations with the UFC about the bout, either the White House or thereabouts,” McGregor said in a short interview on his LITT drink brand’s Instagram account. “Sometime in the summer, McGregor will return.”

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVYv7V8jv52/?igsh=ZDU3bzB5N3dwc3Yw

    White House Slot Unlikely

Despite McGregor previously insisting his return at UFC’s June 14 White House event was a “done deal, signed, delivered,” Uncrowned’s Ariel Helwani has reported that McGregor is not expected to appear on that card.

The UFC White House event carries no gate revenue for the promotion — with UFC projecting losses of up to $60 million on the invite-only show — making it a poor financial match for a fighter of McGregor’s earning power.

    International Fight Week the Target

UFC’s International Fight Week card on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas has emerged as the most likely landing spot for McGregor’s comeback, per Helwani. The annual marquee week is among the most lucrative on the UFC calendar and would give the promotion the blockbuster gate and PPV numbers a McGregor fight demands.

    Contract Dispute Still a Factor

A significant hurdle remains in finalizing the deal. McGregor has argued that the UFC’s new $7.7 billion Paramount+ broadcast agreement voids his existing contract, which was built around a PPV revenue-sharing structure. UFC President Dana White has not confirmed any agreement is imminent, stating bluntly: “If it was done and he accepted it, I would announce it.”

    Opponent TBD

No opponent has been confirmed or officially targeted. McGregor recently said he would accept a “no-name” opponent to simply get back into competition, posting “Day 15 of ‘I accept, send the contract’” on social media.

Max Holloway has publicly expressed interest in a rematch, while Colby Covington has also lobbied for the fight, though White has shot down that pairing.

McGregor’s last official bout ended in a doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to Poirier after he snapped his tibia in the first round. He has not competed since.

Stay tuned to MMA News for updates as McGregor’s return negotiations develop.

Now, Holloway puts his symbolic BMF championship on the line against “Do Bronx” in a lightweight contest that is one of the most anticipated rematches in recent UFC history.

Co-Main Event: Borralho vs. de Ridder

Caio Borralho, a former UFC Middleweight title challenger, squares off against Dutch striker Reinier de Ridder in a high-stakes middleweight bout. Both men are ranked in the top of the division, making this a potential title eliminator fight.

Notable Fight: Font vs. Rosas Jr.

The Rob Font vs. Raul Rosas Jr. bantamweight bout was originally scheduled for UFC Fight Night in September 2025 but was delayed after Rosas Jr. suffered a rib injury. It’s one of the more intriguing matchups on the card, pitting the crafty veteran Font against the young prospect Rosas Jr.

  • What Does BMF Mean in UFC? The Story Behind the Belt

What Does BMF Mean in UFC? The Story Behind the Belt

BMF stands for “Baddest Motherf***er” — and if that sounds less like a championship and more like a barroom dare, that’s kind of the point.

The UFC’s BMF title is unlike any other belt in the promotion. It has no weight class. It doesn’t follow the traditional rankings system. You can’t earn a shot at it by winning three straight fights and climbing a divisional ladder. The BMF belt exists in a category of one: it’s awarded to the fighter who best embodies raw toughness, aggression, and the kind of reckless confidence that makes fans lose their minds.

How the BMF Belt Was Created

The title was born in 2019, dreamed up in real time around one of the most electric matchups the UFC had seen in years.

Nate Diaz had just come off a long absence and was itching for a big fight. Jorge Masvidal had just knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds — the fastest finish in UFC history — and was riding the kind of momentum that doesn’t come around often. The two were friends-turned-rivals, both with massive fanbases and a mutual willingness to fight anyone, anywhere.

Dana White decided the moment was too big for a regular main event. He created the BMF title on the spot for UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden, and to make it official, had Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson present the belt in person.

Masvidal won by third-round TKO when a doctor stopped the fight due to cuts on Diaz’s face — a controversial but definitive result. The first BMF champion had been crowned.

    BMF Title History

The belt has only changed hands a handful of times, and each transition has come with its own memorable moment:

    • Jorge Masvidal — First champion, won at UFC 244 (November 2019) via doctor’s stoppage over Nate Diaz
    • Justin Gaethje — Won the vacated title at UFC 291 (July 2023) after Masvidal retired, defeating Dustin Poirier
    • Max Holloway — Became champion at UFC 300 (April 2024) with one of the most jaw-dropping finishes in recent memory, knocking out Gaethje in the final seconds of the fifth round
    • Max Holloway (def.) — Successfully defended against Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 (2025) via unanimous decision

Holloway’s knockout of Gaethje may be the defining moment in BMF history so far. Down on the scorecards, he waved Gaethje forward in the closing seconds and then dropped him with a right hand at the buzzer. It was the kind of moment the belt was literally invented to reward.

What Makes the BMF Belt Different

    BMF Championship
    UFC’s BMF Championship Belt (Rendering)

The BMF title fills a gap that the traditional UFC belt structure can’t. A fighter can be a great champion — technically sound, smart, efficient — without ever being the kind of guy who makes 20,000 people in an arena collectively hold their breath. The BMF belt is for the guys who do.

It’s also worth noting what the belt is not: it doesn’t guarantee a divisional title shot, it doesn’t affect the official rankings, and holding it doesn’t make you the top contender at any weight class. It’s purely symbolic — which, in its own way, makes it mean more. Nobody fights for the BMF title for positioning. They fight for it because they want to be called the baddest.

Who Holds the BMF Belt Now

Max Holloway is the current BMF champion and has a defense coming up at UFC 326 this Saturday, March 7, against former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira. Check out our full UFC 326 preview for everything you need to know about fight night.

  • Tsarukyan vs. Poullas Rematch Set for Hype FC Brazil on March 11

Tsarukyan vs. Poullas Rematch Set for Hype FC Brazil on March 11

Just days after their heated encounter at RAF 6, Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas are set to run it back. The rematch has been officially announced for Hype FC’s event on March 11 at the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The two will meet in a 10-minute, submission-only grappling match — a format that raises the stakes considerably from their decision-based wrestling bout earlier this week.

    Tsarukyan vs. Poullas Rematch Poster

Tsarukyan defeated Poullas by decision at RAF 6 on February 28 at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona. The match ended in chaos, however, when Tsarukyan tackled Poullas after the final buzzer, igniting a backstage brawl that had to be broken up by security and both fighters’ teams. Poullas later claimed he was jumped “by like 12 Armenians” in the aftermath.

Tsarukyan has since expressed no remorse over the incident, and Poullas made his own statement addressing the altercation on social media.

The Hype FC Brazil card is shaping up to be a major event. Jorge Masvidal is also set to make his return on the same night, and Jean Silva is additionally booked for a submission-only match on the card, though his opponent has yet to be announced.

Despite the post-match fireworks, Tsarukyan remains in good standing with UFC brass. The Armenian lightweight has reportedly had encouraging conversations with UFC executive Hunter Campbell, with a potential lightweight title shot — or a matchup against the winner of the Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira BMF bout — possibly on the horizon in 2026.

UFC Rankings: Fight Night 268 Fallout

    UFC Rankings Report

Here is the confirmed UFC Rankings Report for Tuesday, March 3, 2026, following UFC Fight Night 268: Moreno vs. Kavanagh this past weekend from Arena CDMX, Mexico City.

    Flyweight

Lone’er Kavanagh enters at No. 6. The 26-year-old Englishman entered the fight unranked and on short notice — replacing Asu Almabayev (hand injury) — and defeated former two-time champion Brandon Moreno via unanimous decision (49–46, 48–47, 48–47) over five rounds. Kavanagh battered Moreno’s lead calf and bloodied his face, controlling distance with clean counters throughout.

Brandon Moreno holds at No. 6. Despite the loss, Moreno retains his ranking position. He is now 23–10–2 and has lost three of his last five fights.

    Bantamweight

David Martínez rises to No. 9. The undefeated UFC prospect (3–0 in the promotion) defeated Marlon Vera via unanimous decision (29–28 across all three cards) in the co-main event. Martínez previously sat at No. 10 entering the fight and moved up one spot following the win over a ranked opponen.

Marlon “Chito” Vera drops from No. 8. The one-time title challenger now sits on a career-worst four-fight losing streak and loses ground in the 135 lb rankings.

    Lightweight

King Green earns a ranking bump after knocking out Daniel Zellhuber in Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 268. Green’s finish of the ranked Mexican prospect consolidates his position in the 155 lb division.

    Flyweight (Prelim Movers)

Imanol Rodríguez enters the rankings after a TKO finish of Kevin Borjas in his UFC debut on the prelims, earning a Performance of the Night bonus. Rodríguez’s finish was enough for the panel to slot him into the flyweight top 15.

  • Arman Tsarukyan Doubts UFC is Upset with RAF 6 Brawl

Arman Tsarukyan Doubts UFC is Upset with RAF 6 Brawl

Arman Tsarukyan has no regrets about the events of his wrestling match and brawl with Georgio Poullas at RAF 6, and he feels many, including the UFC, are on his side.

Tsarukyan won the contest 5-3 at the event on February 28 at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona. But the bigger story at hand came in the aftermath, with Tsarukyan and Poullas needing to be separated after a physical altercation following the final whistle.

Though Tsarukyan started the post-fight kerfuffle with a shove, it was in response to dirty tactics implemented by Poullas during the bout.

Now, in an interview with Ariel Helwani, Tsarukyan opened up about the experience, feeling he was patient during the match as much as possible — but that no one could stand for what Poullas did.

“This is not my fault,” Tsarukyan said. “Everybody is on my side now. I was waiting like six minutes. He was like punching me for six minutes. What do you want me to wait for me? Bro, if someone punches you — everybody is different, what are you going to do if somebody punches you 20 times? You’re not going to let him do that.”

Video footage from the matchup saw Poullas landing punches and slaps on Tsarukyan, prompting cries of foul play from Tsarukyan’s team but no true intervention from the match’s referee.

Tsarukyan shoved Poullas to the mat and appeared to be ready to employ some MMA ground-and-pound before the corners and officials intervened.

“Maybe 20 times, he’s trying to poke eyes, break my fingers,” Tsarukyan said. “I thought he was going to wrestle, but when he started punching, I said, ‘Okay, this guy wants to fight, and cancel the fight, do dirty wrestling. I was waiting on wrestling [to be] done, and [at] that moment, I wanted to punch him right away.

“I won the wrestling and I heard the whistle, and I said, ‘Okay, now it’s time’ because I got the victory.”

This controversy is not the first that Tsarukyan has been involved in over the past couple of years, and the result has seemed to be ire from the UFC directed at him.

Tsarukyan was suspended following an altercation with a fan during his walkout at UFC 300, which saw him defeat Charles Oliveira. Tsarukyan withdrew from a lightweight title fight with Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 just one day before the event. He then irked many in the MMA community by headbutting Dan Hooker in the ceremonial weigh-ins before their UFC Qatar headliner.

Some feel that Tsarukyan is digging a deeper hole for himself and his UFC career with this latest spotlight, and they feel he may have solidified never getting another title opportunity.

But Tsarukyan feels the UFC will be pleased with him not letting a wrestler, someone who is not a UFC fighter, get the better of him.

“It’s the opposite. They are going to be happy that a UFC fighter don’t let somebody to beat up a UFC fighter. UFC fighter goes to freestyle wrestling and beat the freestyle wrestler and to show what’s the level of UFC.”

RAF officials have expressed disappointment in the brawl, but the promotion has not disciplined either man as of press time.

  • UFC’s 3-Year Sellout Streak Ends at Fight Night in Mexico City

UFC’s 3-Year Sellout Streak Ends at Fight Night in Mexico City

UFC Fight Night 268 drew an announced attendance of 16,454 at Arena CDMX on Saturday, February 28, making it the first UFC event held in Mexico in three years to fail to sell out. Roughly 3,500 seats were left empty, and the UFC declined to announce a live gate figure — an unusual omission that further underscored the shortfall.

Chilean MMA reporter Rodrigo Del Campo González was among the first to report the streak’s end, noting that previous UFC Mexico events had sold out consistently since at least 2023.

The non-sellout came despite the card being headlined by Mexico’s own Brandon Moreno, a two-time UFC Flyweight Champion fighting in front of his home crowd. Moreno’s original opponent, top-ranked contender Asu Almabayev, withdrew with an injury weeks before the event, forcing the UFC to slot in unranked Englishman Lone’er Kavanagh as a late replacement.

Kavanagh ultimately delivered one of the night’s biggest storylines, defeating Moreno via unanimous decision in the five-round main event and claiming the biggest win of his career, per the BBC. Moreno falls to 23-10-2 with the loss.

A contributin factors to the attendance dip could be the civil unrest in Mexico in the days preceding the event, stemming from cartel-related violence in the Jalisco region following the death of cartel leader El Mencho.

  • Patrick Habirora to Face Benson Henderson in PFL Brussels Main Event on May 23

Patrick Habirora to Face Benson Henderson in PFL Brussels Main Event on May 23

Belgium’s undefeated welterweight star Patrick “The Belgian Bomber” Habirora (8-0) will return to his home country for a massive main event showdown against former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson on May 23 at PFL Brussels. He officially announced the news on Monday’s Helwani Show.

    Habirora’s Rise

Habirora has established himself as one of PFL Europe’s most exciting prospects, going a perfect 4-0 inside the PFL SmartCage. The 24-year-old Belgian has five of his victories coming by way of KO/TKO, powered by a devastating striking skillset that has made him a fan favorite. In his most recent outing, Habirora headlined PFL Europe Brussels in July 2025, delivering a spectacular first-round head kick knockout of UFC veteran Danny Roberts at the 4:32 mark.

    Henderson’s Credentials

Benson Henderson is a decorated MMA veteran and former UFC lightweight champion who has remained active in combat sports since departing Bellator. Henderson has competed across multiple organizations since his MMA career wound down, including Karate Combat, Misfits Boxing, and grappling competitions, making him a seasoned and dangerous opponent for any prospect.

    What’s at Stake

This fight represents a significant step up in competition for Habirora, who already proved himself on home soil in 2025 by knocking out another UFC veteran in Roberts. A win over Henderson would dramatically elevate Habirora’s profile and signal his readiness for elite-level competition.

PFL Brussels has become a signature event for Belgian MMA, with Habirora serving as the face of that movement.

  • Jon Jones Confirms Talks to Fight at UFC White House

Jon Jones Confirms Talks to Fight at UFC White House

After a whole saga, if both new reports and Jon Jones’ word hold, Jones will get his wish of competing at the UFC White House event.

A report from Ariel Helwani approximately 24 hours ago claimed that Alex Pereira’s vacating of the UFC light heavyweight championship is due to him moving up to heavyweight. And with that, talks of a bout between him and Jones to serve as the UFC White House main event have been held.

Hours following Helwani’s report, at a meet and greet at The Brook Casino in New Hampshire, Jones confirmed that he and the UFC have had discussions about competing at the White House.

“I’m in negotiations with the UFC about this White House [fight] as well,” said Jones. “I’m a very proud American, and I cannot wait to represent one more time.”

Jones was one of the earliest names who spoke up last summer when U.S. President Donald Trump first hinted at a UFC event taking place on the lawn of the White House.

It had been just two weeks since Jones retired from the UFC, vacating the UFC heavyweight championship, which was then given to then-interim champion Tom Aspinall. Before the White House card announcement, it appeared to be the end of a year-plus-long saga of negotiations between Jones, Aspinall, and the UFC.

UFC CEO and President Dana White has previously been on the record stating that he considers Jones vs. Aspinall as a “dream main event” for the card, but that he couldn’t trust Jones with the main event slot of the card.

Jones returned to the UFC after a three-year layoff at UFC 285, defeating Ciryl Gane for the then-vacant heavyweight championship. He’s fought just once since, retaining the belt against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309.

White has promised recently that fights for the White House card will be revealed in the coming days.

  • Georgio Poullas Makes Statement After Brawl with Arman Tsarukyan

Georgio Poullas Makes Statement After Brawl with Arman Tsarukyan

Georgio Poullas took to social media to send a message to his fans, RAF fans, and RAF 6 opponent Arman Tsarukyan after their chaotic post-match brawl.

Tsarukyan took a 5-3 victory over Poullas, but the real story came after the match when Tsarukyan shoved Poullas down and looked to throw strikes at him. The corners of both men and officials quickly intervened to separate the two.

Footage from the match appeared to show Poullas employing dirty tactics during the match, namely slaps, to the protest of Tsarukyan’s team.

In a statement from the back of an ambulance, Poullas credited his family for being on his side despite being outnumbered during the aftermath. He also felt like the true winner of the matchup, claiming to have scored the only true takedown.

“Unfortunately, I was jumped,” Poullas said. “But as you guys saw, my 62-year-old dad and both of my brothers came to my rescue. That’s the way we were brought up — to fight for each other no matter what.

“To Arman, you’re a little b****. And by the way, if you guys watch the match, I’m the only one that got a takedown. He got pushed out and a couple of penalty points. I’m still the champ, baby.”

Tsarukyan has been in the spotlight of controversy several times over the past couple of years. He was suspended following an altercation with a fan at UFC 300, lost a UFC lightweight title shot after pulling out with injury one day before UFC 311, and earned plenty of criticism for getting physical with Dan Hooker during the UFC Qatar ceremonial weigh-ins.

Tsarukyan made his RAF debut at RAF 5 in January, defeating Lance Palmer. Poullas also made his RAF debut on that card, defeating Keelon Jimison.

Following the event, RAF executives Eric Bischoff and Chad Bronstein assured that RAF is a family-friendly product and said they would review protocols to ensure preventative measures for another situation like this.

As of press time, there is no update on the RAF status of Tsarukyan or Poullas.

Henry Cejudo Scores Shutout, Will Face Merab Dvalishvili in April

While his UFC career did not end in the greatest of success, Henry Cejudo showed why he’s been one of the greatest wrestlers in the discipline, scoring an 11-0 technical fall win over Urijah Faber in the RAF 6 main event.

Cejudo did not let Faber into the contest for a moment, as he ankle picked his fellow UFC alumnus and took over from there. Cejudo used several takedowns during the contest to rack up points. While Faber would try to use his grappling defense, it wasn’t enough.

Cejudo scored 11 points before Faber could even get on the board, resulting in a dominant technical fall win for the former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion.

Henry Cejudo Faces Off With Merab Dvalishvili After Win Over Urijah Faber At RAF 6

Following his victory, Cejudo called out fellow former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili.

Cejudo made the challenge to be Dvalishvili’s first RAF opponent after his recent signing. Dvalishvili accepted the match, with the two being booked to headline RAF 8 in Philadelphia this April.

“Merab Dvalishvili, you’re next!” Cejudo said. “You didn’t beat me! April in Philly, I’m going to spank you, Merab. Sign the contract. I’m going to make you bend the knee!”

Cejudo and Dvalishvili faced off at UFC 298 in February 2024, with Dvalishvili winning before going on to capture the UFC bantamweight title later that year.

  • Bo Nickal, Khamzat Chimaev Respond To Colby Covington’s RAF Promo

Bo Nickal, Khamzat Chimaev Respond To Colby Covington’s RAF Promo

Colby Covington has always been one to ruffle feathers and stir up drama, but his mic time at RAF 6 has left some of his fellow competitors unimpressed.

Covington was at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, for the RAF 6 event and took to the mic to ask the crowd who they’d like to see him face off with next.

Covington polled the crowd on three potential names — Arman Tsarukyan, Kamaru Usman, and Georges St Pierre.

“I’ve got a couple of names in mind,” Covington said. “How about that little spoiled brat from Armenia, Arman Tsarukyan? What about the trilogy with Marty FakeNewsman? I beat him last time we were in Madison Square Garden. Come to the Real American Freestyle mat, I’m going to beat you here, Marty.

“And then I got one more name, because there’s nothing more like as an American than beating those Canadians’ a**. Georges St Pierre, where you at?”

Colby Covington Makes RAF Callouts, Bo Nickal and Khamzat Chimaev Call Him Out

Even though Covington did not refer to competing next in the Octagon, his comments at the RAF event sparked responses from some of his fellow UFC stars.

One of those names is Bo Nickal, who has expressed a desire to compete against Covington on the UFC White House card in June.

Nickal claims the former interim welterweight champion is using RAF to avoid facing off with him in a battle of former NCAA Division-I All-Americans in the Octagon.

“Colby the clown running scared,” Nickal posted on social media. “He doesn’t want me to embarrass him at the White House. Man up, brother, let’s do it.”

The promo from Covington also brought out a response from UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev, who expressed openness in having a showdown with Covington on the wrestling mats.

“Next RAF, I will make American boy humble again,” Chimaev posted. “Colbiclown let’s go.”

When asked if he is injured, Chimaev clarified that he is just waiting to figure out a date for a UFC middleweight title defense against Sean Strickland.

Covington made his RAF debut at RAF 5 in January, defeating Luke Rockhold.

  • Arman Tsarukyan, Georgio Poullas Have Post-Match Brawl at RAF 6

Arman Tsarukyan, Georgio Poullas Have Post-Match Brawl at RAF 6

UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan finds himself in the controversial spotlight again following a post-fight brawl that erupted between him and RAF 6 opponent Georgio Poullas.

Tsarukyan defeated Poullas 5-3 in a close and competitive battle with plenty of tension. Tsarukyan wasn’t finished after the final whistle, however.

Tsarukyan shoved Poullas down and began to throw punches in an MMA-style ground-and-pound attack. The referee, fight officials, and both corners quickly intervened to separate the two.

Tsarukyan’s attack appeared to come as revenge for dirty tactics employed by Poullas during the match. Footage from the match shows Poullas slapping the back of Tsarukyan’s head and throwing punches.

In one video, Tsarukyan’s team can be heard yelling in protest over Poullas’ actions.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) following the RAF event, Tsarukyan showed frustration and no remorse for the brawl.

“F*** around and find out,” Tsarukyan posted.

Tsarukyan has seemed to clash with the UFC over the past couple of years for a number of controversies.

He was suspended following his win over Charles Oliveira at UFC 300 following an altercation with a fan during his entrance. Tsarukyan withdrew from a scheduled lightweight title fight with Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 just one day before the event, and he hasn’t received a title shot since. Tsarukyan also got physical with Dan Hooker during the UFC Qatar ceremonial weigh-ins back in November.

This marked Tsarukyan’s RAF debut. Poullas, meanwhile, competed at RAF 5 in January, scoring a technical fall over Keelon Jimison.
