Boxing Star Amanda Serrano Claps Back After Fan Crosses Line With Inappropriate Request – ‘I’m A Boxer, Not A Stripper’

Amanda Serrano fired back at a fan on social media this week after receiving an inappropriate request under one of her recent posts.

The seven-division world champion shared a photo online when one user responded by asking Serrano to post feet pictures. The comment quickly caught the attention of the boxing star, who didn’t hold back with her response.

ā€œI’m a boxer, not a stripper,ā€ Serrano wrote. ā€œI’ll post boxing content & nothing showing body. We have enough that love taking their clothes off. Follow them.ā€

The exchange sparked support from many fans who praised Serrano for shutting down the comment and defending herself against the kind of disrespectful messages female athletes frequently deal with online.

Amanda Serrano Remains One Of Boxing’s Most Accomplished Champions

The Puerto Rican superstar owns a professional record of 51-3-2 with 31 knockouts and has captured world championships across seven different weight divisions, a feat very few fighters in boxing history have accomplished.

Serrano last competed earlier this year when she defeated Nina Meinke by unanimous decision in a dominant performance to bounce back from consecutive losses to longtime rival Katie Taylor.

The victory helped Serrano regain momentum after the highly competitive Taylor trilogy cemented itself as one of the defining rivalries in women’s boxing.

“The Real Deal” is scheduled to return to the ring on May 30 in El Paso, Texas, where she’ll defend her unified featherweight titles against Cheyenne Hanson as part of the MVPW-03 card promoted by Most Valuable Promotions

Amanda Serrano Backs Rousey vs. Carano, Takes Aim at Critics

Amanda Serrano has weighed in on the newly announced Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano fight, praising both women as pioneers and taking a shot at anyone who views the matchup negatively.

Serrano, who signed a lifetime deal with Most Valuable Promotions in March 2025, shared her thoughts on social media following the announcement that Rousey and Carano will headline MVP’s first-ever MMA event on May 16 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, streaming live on Netflix.

“It’s so cool to have one of the Best combat Athletes back @RondaRousey vs another pioneer of combat sports the beautiful @ginacarano,” Serrano wrote. “Others shining lights won’t dim yours Unless you’re insecure, these women will break Numbers both in Viewerships & in live Attendance. I’m certain they will make a ton of money Raising the game!!”

She continued, “I feel it for the Lames that think it’s all about them. Real Empowered Women Empower Women! Tissues for the rest.”

    Reactions to Rousey vs Carano

Serrano’s comments come as the fight has drawn mixed reactions across the combat sports world. While Rousey, 39, hasn’t competed in MMA since her knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016, and Carano, 43, last fought professionally in 2009, the pairing has generated massive buzz as a dream matchup that never materialized during their primes.

The Puerto Rican boxing champion knows firsthand what MVP and Netflix can deliver. Serrano’s rematch with Katie Taylor in November 2024 became the most-watched professional women’s sports event in U.S. history with 74 million global viewers, and their trilogy at Madison Square Garden in July 2025 headlined the first-ever all-women’s boxing card at the iconic venue.

MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian called Rousey and Carano “the two most formative figures in the history of women’s MMA” when announcing the bout. The fight will be contested at 145 pounds over five five-minute rounds under the Unified Rules of MMA.

A kickoff press conference is scheduled for March 5 at the Intuit Dome, with additional fights on the undercard to be announced in the coming weeks.

‘A Bust’ – Fans React To Katie Taylor Sweeping Trilogy With Amanda Serrano

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano are two of the best women’s boxers of all-time, and their rivalry has been nothing but epic. The third fight proved to be completely different from their first two meetings; however, the result was the same — Taylor getting her hand raised and retaining the undisputed women’s super lightweight championship.

The trilogy fight headlined the first all-women’s boxing card — featuring a Guinness World Record 17 titles on the line — on July 11 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

The first two rounds did not feature much action, as both women looked to find their groove and judge their opponent’s rhythms and attacks. The third round saw flashbacks to the first two fights, as Serrano got aggressive with flurries a couple of times — only to get hit with counterpunches from Taylor.

After a clear fourth round for Taylor, the fifth round was once again super close, with more technical fighting than the aggressive kind. Serrano picked up the aggression in the sixth round, but the fight returned to its strategic-based pace in round seven.

That pace continued for the remainder of the fight, as the final three rounds all could have fallen either way. One judge, in fact, did score the fight a 95-95 draw; however, Taylor took the fight with 97-93 totals on the other two scorecards.

Taylor and Serrano first clashed in 2022, with Taylor retaining the undisputed title in a controversial unanimous decision. The same occurred in their second meeting this past November as part of the undercard for Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul.

Taylor, a gold medalist at the 2012 Olympics, became undisputed champion when she claimed the WBC women’s super lightweight title from Delfine Persoon in June 2019 as part of the Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. undercard. Taylor retained the undisputed title seven consecutive times. She’d drop the titles to Chantelle Cameron in May 2023 but regained the gold that November.

Taylor is responsible for three of the four losses in Serrano’s career. Serrano has previously won nine major world titles across seven weight classes — and is the only Puerto Rican boxer to win world titles in more than four weight divisions. Serrano most recently a female featherweight champion, becoming undisputed champion with a win over Ericka Cruz in 2023.

Boxing fans witnessed another dominant performance from Paul as he stepped back into the ring to take on Perry, the leading star in bare-knuckle boxing. The event occurred at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Paul was initially set to face Mike Tyson, but the fight was postponed due to the heavyweight legend’s illness. “Platinum” Perry came in on a month’s notice in an attempt to stun the boxing world by defeating the polarizing ex-Disney star and getting the biggest win of his combat sports career to date. However, Paul proved to be too much for his opponent to handle.

Although the bare-knuckle champion showcased incredible toughness, Paul achieved a TKO victory in the sixth round. After the fight, Paul shared that he plans to knock out Tyson later this year and wants to fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira in boxing.

Elsewhere on the card, former UFC middleweight Uriah Hall faced Julio CƩsar ChƔvez Jr. in a cruiserweight contest to kick off the main card. The fight went the distance, with judges believing that ChƔvez Jr. did enough to win by unanimous decision.

  • Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Weigh-In Results: Paul Makes Weight On Second Attempt

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Weigh-In Results: Paul Makes Weight On Second Attempt

Jake Paul and Mike Perry weighed in today to make their bout official. MMA News has the results here!

Internet sensation and boxing star Jake Paul returns to the ring after an impressive knockout win against Ryan Bourland earlier this year.

He was initially slated to face Mike Tyson in a groundbreaking matchup on Netflix this Saturday. However, the legendary heavyweight boxer had to postpone the fight due to an illness. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship fan favorite Mike Perry will step in on short notice and looks to stun the boxing world with a win over “The Problem Child.”

All fighters competing on the card had to weigh in ahead of their matchups. The main event became official after Paul’s second attempt at making the cruiserweight limit on his second attempt.

Since transitioning from MMA to bare-knuckle boxing in 2022, Perry has enjoyed a career renaissance. He is undefeated with five wins, including over Eddie Alvarez, Michael “Venom” Page, and Luke Rockhold. Perry’s last bare-knuckle boxing appearance was a knockout win over Thiago Alves in the first round at BKFC KnuckleMania 4 on April 27. While “Platinum” Perry has found a new sport to thrive in, facing Paul will be a different challenge than he has faced before.

This Saturday’s matchup for Paul will be vital as he hopes to fight Tyson later this year. The highly anticipated bout has been rescheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The 9-1 boxer will be highly motivated to dispatch Perry to send a message to “Iron Mike.” Paul also has the knockout power and professional boxing experience to give Perry more than he can handle. That said, Perry has shown to be tough to finish and is expected to give his all to defy the odds against him.

Paul vs. Perry will occur at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Fans can watch the main card at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT by subscribing to DAZN and paying $64.99 for the pay-per-view. The prelims will stream for free on the DAZN YouTube Channel at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.

  • Serrano Piggybacks Paul’s UFC Proposal By Offering To Fight Shevchenko

Boxing star Amanda Serrano is game for a crossover fight with UFC champion Valentina Shevchenko if the UFC allows it to happen.

Serrano’s Most Valuable Promotions colleague Jake Paul made a recent offer to UFC president Dana White to retire from boxing if certain points are met. Paul has repeatedly called for White to increase UFC fighter pay and provide health care benefits to his athletes in exchange for an MMA fight with Jorge Masvidal.

While it’s fairly unlikely that White will agree to Paul’s demands, Serrano gave her two cents on the offer and proposed a UFC fight with Shevchenko.

Serrano responded to Paul’s offer to White with an additional caveat of her own on Twitter.

“I will gladly sign a one-fight deal with the UFC to challenge Valentina for the flyweight championship if UFC agrees to Jake’s offer,” Serrano tweeted. “Let’s make history.”

White has accused Paul of using performance-enhancing drugs in his boxing career in a sharp response to Paul accusing him of cocaine use. Neither accusation has been backed up with much evidence, but Serrano seems interested in a matchup with Shevchenko.

Shevchenko is coming off of a dominant 2021, in which she dismantled top flyweight contenders Lauren Murphy and JĆ©ssica Andrade. She has arguably cleaned out the flyweight division at the moment, making a matchup with Serrano somewhat feasible as a way to occupy Shevchenko’s time.

Serrano has captivated the boxing world with a 42-1-1 record, including a 28 fight winning streak. She also has an undefeated record in MMA, earning submission wins over Valentina Garcia and Erendira Ordonez.

Serrano most recently put on dominant boxing performances against Miriam Gutierrez and Yamileth Mercado in a pair of co-main events on Paul-led boxing cards. While it’s unclear if Shevchenko has any interest in boxing, it certainly seems that Serrano is intrigued by the idea of moving into her world in the UFC Octagon.
