Andrew Tate Named CEO of Misfits Boxing, Set to Face Chase DeMoor in December Title Fight

Misfits Boxing announced a significant leadership change on October 30, 2025, with Andrew Tate taking over as CEO of the influencer boxing promotion. The former athlete will make his professional boxing debut against Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor on December 20, 2025, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

The announcement was made through a promotional video featuring Mams Taylor, co-president of Misfits Boxing, who stated that YouTuber and co-founder KSI has been removed from his CEO position.

In the announcement video, Tate described his ascension to the role as a planned transition. “Welcome to your new CEO, it wasn’t a hostile takeover, but it was certainly planned, and Mams and I are going to be working together to finally put Misfits where it belongs on the world stage,” he said. “The largest disruptive force in sports entertainment history, so considering that somebody that failed at their obligations to make this organization as big as it should’ve been has been ousted and I’m the new CEO”.

Tate later explained to Fred Talks Fighting that a tweet posted by KSI three years ago prompted his takeover. “Well, KSI tweeted something that annoyed me about three years ago. So, long story short, I took his company from him,” Tate said, adding that he has never met KSI and hopes he is okay.

KSI responded with fury on social media platform X. “This year people are trying to test me fr. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*** IS GOING ON? This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Let’s make ANDREW TATE THE CEO OF MISFITS?!? ARE YOU F****** SERIOUS?!?” he wrote. He also criticized Taylor, stating: “Bro has been focused on misfits rather than managing me lol. And you decide to do this s***”.

Many fans have expressed skepticism about the situation, believing it may be a promotional storyline designed to set up a future fight between KSI and Tate. Multiple social media users described the announcement as a “WWE storyline,” suggesting the conflict is manufactured to generate interest in a potential showdown for the CEO position.

Misfits Boxing was founded in May 2022 by KSI, Mams Taylor, and boxing promoters Kalle Sauerland and Nisse Sauerland as a partnership with Wasserman Boxing. The promotion organizes events featuring influencers and former combat sports professionals, streaming primarily through DAZN. Since its inception, Misfits has held 22 events, with the most recent featuring former UFC fighters Darren Till and Luke Rockhold.

    Andrew Tate’ Upcoming Boxing Match

The December 20 bout will mark Tate’s professional boxing debut, as his previous experience has been exclusively in full-contact kickboxing.

The appointment of Tate as CEO has generated controversy given his ongoing legal issues across multiple countries. He and his brother Tristan face charges in the United Kingdom, Romania, and are under investigation in the United States related to allegations of sexual assault and human trafficking, which both brothers deny.

Andrew Tate Responds to ‘Desperate’ Darren Till: “Fighting me is life changing money”

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has made it clear that he would be interested in a boxing match against Darren Till.

As we know, Andrew Tate has been a pretty big name in the news cycle over the course of the last few years. His controversial statements and views have landed him in hot water on more than one occasion, and beyond that, he’s currently involved in some legal issues that have led to a great deal of debate regarding his imminent future.

Darren Till, meanwhile, is enjoying life outside of the UFC as he continues to build a name for himself as something of a juggernaut in the ‘influencer boxing’ scene. Recently, he’s made it known that he wants to throw down with Andrew Tate.

In a reply posted to social media, Andrew Tate issued a warning to Till whilst also praising him.

Andrew Tate responds to Darren Till

ā€œDarren I think you’re hilarious. Always enjoyed your antics and humor. Also seen your career and respect it, you’re well liked in my circles. The fight would be great! I understand fighting me is life changing money for you (not me).

ā€œBut there’s no need for name calling. I really don’t like all that clown s*** and being rude etc. We’re both professionals here. I find it rude and if that’s the way you’re trying to get the fight it won’t happen. I’m the superstar here. Talk nicely and I’ll reply to your team’s desperate messages.ā€

Will it happen? We’ll have to wait and see.

  • Why Darren Till Wants Andrew Tate Next: ‘I’m ready whenever you are’

Why Darren Till Wants Andrew Tate Next: ‘I’m ready whenever you are’

Darren Till is eyeing a fight with the controversial Andrew Tate for his next outing and is making it known publicly. Till again put this desire for a Tate fight out there during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. The former UFC welterweight title challenger has been carving out a name for himself on the Misfits Boxing circuit with Till’s most recent win being a highlight reel KO of Luke Rockhold at Misfits Boxing 22 toward the end of August.

Tate is an extremely polarizing influencer who is also a retired kickboxer that has competed in MMA before as well. When outlining who he wants to fight next in the big gloves, Till said,

ā€œAndrew Tate, listen. I’m calling you out. I want that fight. It’s been talked about a lot, but it hasn’t happened yet. I’m ready whenever you are. You think you can step in the ring with me? Let’s see what happens. I’m not scared. Let’s do it.ā€

Darren Till does have other options in mind if Tate bout doesn’t pan out

Darren Till did pointedly mention a few other names that he would like to throw down with under Queensberry Rules if the manosphere content creator does not step into the ring with him. ‘The Gorilla’, in the same referenced interview above, shouted out the likes of Carl Froch, Tommy Fury, Mike Perry, and Jorge Masvidal as individuals he would be keen to fight in the Misfits Boxing ring.

Froch is someone that Till called out on the microphone in the waning moments after his KO of former UFC champion Rockhold in Manchester. Carl Froch has been retired for years now and while he did not confirm a return, there seemed to be a certain level of intrigue in a future Till fight.

Tommy Fury was initially lined up to fight Till in the Misfits ring until a tongue in cheek comment from the latter about throwing kicks if the boxing bout did not go his way caused the young Fury to pull out of the planned bout. Perry and Masvidal are individuals he has history with as Till has long sought out a fight with ‘Platinum’ Perry which has inexplicably never happened while Till did fight Masvidal in the UFC and the UK native got knocked out by the former BMF champion in 2019.

Till had also mentioned in the chat with Helwani that he intends to compete again this calendar year by pointedly mentioning December as when he aims to return to the ring. It remains to be seen who Darren Till will throw down with around the holiday season.

Andrew Tate Reportedly In Deep Negotiations For Misfits Boxing Heavyweight Debut In Late 2025

Andrew Tate could be returning to combat sports before year’s end.

Tate is one of the most polarizing social media figures, drawing widespread criticism for his misogynistic views while still maintaining a strong following among young men worldwide.

Before rising to infamy for his controversial rhetoric, the 38-year-old American-born Brit made his name as a professional kickboxer, amassing a reported record of 76-9-1 with 32 victories coming by way of stoppage.

“Cobra” last competed in December 2020, earning a second-round TKO win under a regional promotion in Bucharest, Romania. Though absent from official competition since, he frequently showcases sparring footage on social media to remind fans of his fighting pedigree.

Andrew Tate Reportedly Closing In On Misfits Boxing Deal

On Tuesday, combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani reported that Andrew Tate is in advanced discussions to make his Misfits Boxing debut in a heavyweight clash slated for later this year.

Reports also suggest that a formal confirmation of Tate’s involvement could arrive as early as this Saturday during the Misfits Boxing 22 event in Manchester, England.

ā€œCobraā€ and his younger brother, Tristan Tate are entangled in a web of legal battles, facing a slew of grave allegations ranging from sexual assault and human trafficking to money laundering and leading an organized crime ring accused of exploiting women.

The Tate brothers were arrested in Romania in 2022 on these charges and remain under scrutiny, with an additional criminal investigation currently underway in Florida.

  • Payton Talbott Has Surprise Opponent In Mind After UFC 311 Return: ‘He Has This Vendetta Against Women’

Payton Talbott Has Surprise Opponent In Mind After UFC 311 Return: ‘He Has This Vendetta Against Women’

Payton Talbott was one of the breakout stars of 2024 after extending his winning streak inside the Octagon to 3-0. The 26-year old earned back-to-back performance bonuses for his finishes over Cameron Saaiman and Yanis Ghemmouri which have marked him out as one of the most exciting bantamweights in the world right now.

He’s now set to continue this momentum into 2025 when at UFC 311 on January 18, he takes on Brazil’s Raoni Barcelos at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Whilst the 11-fight UFC veteran is his primary focus right now, Talbott has his eyes on another potential opponent.

Rather than having a name in and around the top 15 which he hopes to meet inside the Octagon if he is successful against Barcelos, the Las Vegas native has a bone to pick with the incredibly controversial Andrew Tate. As a former kickboxer who last competed in 2020, Tate has been linked with fighters calling him out for several years.

His current legal issues, which include him being placed under house arrest in Romania for human trafficking, have stopped any form of contest from ever happening but Talbott still wanted to put his intentions out there during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani show.

ā€œYeah, that’s the one. Yeah, let’s get that going. I’d take that; I’d take that. Yeah, yeah, it’s just a free-for-all.ā€

When asked why he wants to have a fight with Tate, who is a huge name in popular culture for a lot of undesirable reasons, Talbott said that it’s his heavily criticized views on women that particularly bother him.

ā€œHe’s just the antithesis of me,ā€ Talbott said. ā€œIt seems like someone just cheated on him when he was younger, and now he has this vendetta against women. I feel like he takes himself super seriously, and it’s just like, he’s kind of a poison for masculine culture.ā€
