  • Floyd Mayweather Files $175 Million Bombshell Lawsuit Alleging Massive Fraud By Former Associate

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is at the center of another major legal battle, this time alleging he was the victim of a long-running financial scheme that cost him a staggering $175 million.

According to reports, including details obtained by TMZ Sports, Mayweather has filed a lawsuit in New York accusing former associate Jona Rechnitz, along with Ayal Frist, Frist Apex Ventures, and attorney Alexander Seligson, of orchestrating a complex fraud operation over several years.

In the filing, “Money” claims Rechnitz gained his trust before effectively taking control of key financial dealings, including investments, banking activity, and real estate transactions. The lawsuit outlines multiple instances where large sums of money were allegedly diverted without his authorization.

Among the claims, the undefeated boxing legend says he wired $7.5 million into an investment that never materialized, while another $15 million tied to a real estate settlement was transferred without his approval. He also alleges that more than $8.8 million from a $16.4 million loan involving four properties was redirected, with only $2.5 million reaching his promotional company.

The suit further states that $2.1 million from an $8.2 million refinance of a Las Vegas property was sent to outside accounts without his consent. In another instance, a $1 million deposit intended for a New York property purchase was allegedly rerouted, causing the deal to collapse.

One of the most striking accusations involves Mayweather’s jewelry collection. He claims nearly $100 million worth of pieces were handed over to jewelers for just $13 million, with a significant portion of the assets still unaccounted for.

The lawsuit also raises questions about the fate of his private jet. The 49-year-old American alleges he unknowingly signed documents transferring ownership of his 1996 Gulfstream IV aircraft without a listed buyer and has no clarity on where the proceeds ended up.

Through his legal team, “Money” is seeking at least $175 million in damages, along with a full financial accounting of the alleged transactions.

  • Floyd Mayweather Hit With $1M Child Support After Being Declared Father Of Strip Club Dancer’s Child

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is facing a significant legal and financial ruling after being declared the father of a young child in a case that has been unfolding for several years.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, a Nevada judge ruled in March 2026 that Mayweather is the legal father of a four-year-old girl, bringing clarity to a paternity dispute that dates back to 2023. The child’s mother, Paige Moorehead, had filed a petition seeking official recognition, alleging a long-term relationship with the boxing legend.

Court documents indicate that “Money” was served multiple times and ordered to undergo DNA testing, but failed to comply. As a result, the judge issued a default judgment establishing paternity.

The ruling comes with substantial financial obligations. Mayweather has been ordered to pay approximately $933,050 in back child support, along with ongoing monthly payments of $32,850. Reports state that he has only paid a portion of the amount so far, prompting the court to allow Moorehead to place a lien of up to $2 million on certain properties to secure the remaining balance.

Moorehead claims she was involved with “Money” for several years before becoming pregnant in 2021, with the child later born in December of that year. She also alleged that their relationship ended shortly after she informed him about the pregnancy.

The development adds to a growing list of legal matters surrounding the former world champion, who has remained active in the public eye despite retiring from professional competition years ago.

  • Mike Tyson Injury Throws Floyd Mayweather Exhibition Fight Plans Into Uncertain Territory

Mike Tyson Injury Throws Floyd Mayweather Exhibition Fight Plans Into Uncertain Territory

Plans for a crossover exhibition between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have been pushed back after an unexpected setback in training.

The bout, which had originally been targeted for the spring with dates like April 25 and May 30 previously floated, is now expected to take place later this year. Promoters confirmed that the delay comes after Tyson suffered a hand injury while preparing for the contest.

The former heavyweight champion had been seen wearing a cast on his right arm earlier this year, initially downplaying the issue as a minor problem.

“Training, punching stuff. Just a little sprain, I have to go hard, it’s the only way I’ve got to go,” Tyson said during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.

However, it has since been clarified that the injury was more serious than first suggested, ultimately forcing organizers to postpone the event until the fall. While no official date or venue has been locked in yet, promoters have indicated that updated details will be announced soon.

The exhibition itself has already experienced a complicated build, with shifting locations and timelines since it was first revealed. At one point, the fight was linked to a card in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, though those plans never materialized.

Adding another layer of uncertainty is Mayweather’s own schedule. The undefeated boxing legend is currently expected to face Manny Pacquiao in a professional rematch later this year in Las Vegas, which could impact the eventual timing of the exhibition.

  • Mike Tyson And Floyd Mayweather Set To Clash In Surprising Exhibition Match In Spring 2026

Just when fans thought nothing could top the crazy world of combat sports, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather are set to face off in the ring.

On Thursday, CSI Sports revealed that two boxing legends are set to square off in an exhibition bout in spring 2026, with the date and venue yet to be finalized.

In a press release (via MMA Fighting), “Iron Mike” stressed the unprecedented and unpredictable nature of the matchup, emphasizing that both boxers are fully committed despite the risks.

“When CSI came to me about stepping in the ring with Floyd Mayweather,” Mike Tyson stated. “I thought, ‘No way this happens,’ but, Floyd said yes. This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen. However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable—and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets. I still can’t believe Floyd wants to really do this. It’s going to be detrimental to his health, but he wants to do it, so it’s signed and it’s happening!”

Meanwhile, “Money” emphasized that the exhibition fight will be a major fan-pleasing spectacle.

“I’ve been doing this for 30 years and there hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy,” said Mayweather. “You already know that if I am going to do something, it’s going to be big and it’s going to be legendary. I’m the best in the business of boxing. This exhibition will give the fans what they want.”

When Did Mike Tyson And Floyd Mayweather Last Compete In The Ring?

Mike Tyson returned from nearly two decades of retirement last November to face YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a highly publicized superfight, where “Iron Mike” fell via a lopsided unanimous decision.

The 59-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion, who initially hung up his gloves after a loss to Kevin McBride in June 2005, boasts a professional record of 50-7 and two no-contests, with 44 victories coming by knockout.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather last stepped into the ring in August 2024, going the distance in an eight-round exhibition against John Gotti III.

“Money” retired from professional competition in August 2017 after defeating former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor via TKO. The former multi-weight champion retired undefeated with a flawless 50-0 record, including 27 victories by knockout.

  • Could a Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Rematch Happen? “Could Be Worth Billions”

Could a Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Rematch Happen? “Could Be Worth Billions”

It was 10 years ago when two boxing legends — Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao — finally met in the ring for a highly-anticipated clash of boxing icons that many felt was long overdue. The fight ended up not living up to expectations, but it was had, and as years have gone on, many have felt we saw a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

    Or have we?

Boxing inside Lance Pugmire took to social media and stated that there are talks happening, after all the years, for a potential Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2.

According to Pugmire, the fate of such negotiations continuing depends upon Pacquiao’s ability to win his comeback fight with WBC welterweight champion Marrio Barrios on July 19.

“Was told to expect Floyd to attend with two fighters on the card,” Pugmire posted to X (fka Twitter) on July 15. “‘Conversations are already happening…if Manny wins, this could be worth billions,’ I was told.”

Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao 2 A Possibility If Pacquiao Beats Mario Barrios?

Negotiations for a first fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather began all the way back in late 2009, following Pacquiao’s win over Miguel Cotto and Mayweather’s win over Juan Manuel Marquez — the latter being Mayweather’s first fight in 21 months after a brief retirement in 2008-2009.

Talks between the two sides collapsed in 2010. Mayweather and his team claimed Pacqiuao’s side were resistant to Olympic-style drug testing, while Pacquiao’s camp claimed they accepted the stipulation but Mayweather and his team were dodging the fight.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum attempted to bring a second round of negotiations, alongside HBO and Al Haymon, who was Mayweather’s manager and later went on to create Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) in 2015. Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, however, claimed negotiations never took place. Despite continued disputes, more momentum and hope were slowed in 2012 with Pacquiao dropping a decision to Timothy Bradley and getting brutally knocked out by Marquez.

Thanks to Gabriel Salvador, however, serious negotiations were re-started in mid-2014, as he brought together the likes of then-CBS head Leslie Moonves, Freddie Roach, and Bob Arum. A month after Pacquiao and Mayweather ran into each other at an NBA game, later meeting in a hotel room to iron out details, the fight was officially announced for May 2, 2015.

Though the fight did not live up to expectations, the fight became the highest-grossing boxing pay-per-view in U.S. history with 4.6 million buys and over $410 million in revenue.

Mayweather would go on to defeat Andre Berto later in 2015 and retire — although he came out of retirement for a superfight with then-UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, which Mayweather won via 10th-round TKO. Pacquiao, meanwhile, went on to gain revenge on Bradley and regain the WBO welterweight title before later becoming WBA (Regular) and WBA (Super) welterweight champion. Prior to his comeback this coming weekend, Pacquiao has not fought since losing the WBA title to Yodrenis Ugas in August 2021.

Mayweather and Pacquiao met at a music festival in 2018, and a rematch appeared to be teased but never came to fruition. Mayweather has competed in a series of exhibition bouts since, however, against the likes of Logan Paul, Tenshin Nasukawa, and John Gotti III.

  • Archives: De La Hoya: MayMac Is A Disrespect to Boxing (2017)

If you want a timestamp for when UFC President Dana White began to loathe Oscar De La Hoya, it began with what De La Hoya said in this article five years ago, and it was still going strong when De La Hoya himself mixed the “two different sports” by later trying to fight MMA fighters.

The following article is presented to you in its original, unaltered form, courtesy of The MMA News Archives.

Headline: Oscar De La Hoya: ‘Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather is a Disrespect to Boxing’

    Author: Fernando Quiles Jr.

Oscar De La Hoya is not a fan of the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather talks.

The boxing Hall of Famer and current promoter through Golden Boy Promotions has heard ramblings of a mega-fight between “Notorious” and “Money.” De La Hoya certainly knows a thing or two about the sweet science. He has won multiple world championships in the sport of boxing.

De La Hoya doesn’t have much faith in McGregor’s chances in a boxing match with Mayweather. At the same time, he doesn’t believe Mayweather would fare any better in a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) contest against the current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight titleholder.

Canelo Alvarez, who fights under Golden Boy Promotions, has had some beef with McGregor. He recently said a boxing match-up between McGregor and Mayweather is a “joke” for the sport of boxing.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s ATF radio show, De La Hoya shared the same opinion:

“Well I do. It’s a disrespect to boxing because they’re two different sports. I mean look, put Floyd and McGregor in the ring and Floyd will box his ears off. Put Floyd in the Octagon and McGregor will submit him by twisting his toe or something. You know what I’m saying? It’s a whole different sport.”

  • Sonnen Urges Floyd Mayweather To Pay Paul Before FBI Involvement

Chael Sonnen thinks Floyd Mayweather should speed up the process of paying Logan Paul his fair share after their exhibition.

Mayweather and Paul competed in a boxing exhibition in Miami, FL last year. It was one of the most-watched boxing events of 2021, despite a formal winner not being declared.

The bout between Mayweather and Paul wasn’t officially sanctioned due to the large physical discrepancy between the two of them. The result of the bout was left in the eyes and minds of the viewers.

While Mayweather and Paul seemed to be on amicable terms just minutes after their fight, that has appeared to have fizzled over. Paul has reportedly threatened legal action against Mayweather over an alleged failed payout.

Mayweather has since responded to the allegations during a recent podcast appearance, citing that the issue has to do with pay-per-view revenue.

During a recent segment on his YouTube channel, Sonnen addressed the ongoing drama between Mayweather and Paul.

“I know some of you (who) got the little TMT shirts think that The Money Team’s a real business. It’s not,” Sonnen said of Mayweather. “It’s a bank account that goes one way: Money comes in. They do not have a team. They do not have a staff. They do not have a lease. They do not have obligations. They don’t have debt to service. It’s not a real company. He signed a contract with (The Money Team). That’s a big problem. Big problem for Floyd if he received funds, and he did. And he converted those funds to his own, which it appears that he did.

“So this story is going to be ongoing. But if you are Team Floyd, you’re gonna wanna lawyer up real fast, you’re gonna wanna get a hold of their representation. Before the FB gets called in to look at this, you’re gonna wanna make a deal, and you’re gonna want to pay Logan Paul.”

Mayweather hasn’t competed in professional boxing since his win over former UFC champion Conor McGregor in 2017. He remains adamant about staying retired despite calls for him to return to the ring.

Paul has hinted at a return to boxing in 2022 against fellow YouTube sensation Whindersson Nunes. It’s unclear how the Mayweather/Paul drama will end up playing out in the coming weeks and months.

What are your thoughts on the Floyd Mayweather/Logan Paul drama?

  • Mayweather Responds To Logan Paul’s Claims Of Not Being Paid For Fight

Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather has responded to Logan Paul’s lawsuit threat and claims that he has failed to pay him for their exhibition.

Mayweather and Paul went toe-to-toe in the boxing ring last summer in an exhibition bout, with the fight going the full distance. The fight wasn’t sanctioned due to the notable physical discrepancy between the two boxers.

Despite the two controversial personalities seeming to end their fight on respectful terms, things have taken a drastic turn in recent weeks. Paul has alleged that Mayweather has failed to pay him the full amount owed for their boxing match.

Paul has gone as far as threatening lawsuits, although nothing has been filed just yet. During a recent appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Mayweather responded to the latest Paul fiasco (h/t The Sun).

“This comes with the territory,” Mayweather said. “To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while. Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life.”

After Logan’s initial claim of not being paid by Mayweather, matters escalated recently when Logan’s brother, Jake, hinted that Mayweather was going to be a target of a lawsuit for allegedly not paying Logan his fair share. Logan then went on to confirm Jake’s claims in a series of interviews and social media posts.

Paul is anticipating a return to the boxing ring later this year, potentially against fellow YouTube star Whindersson Nunes. Paul also previously hinted at a potential faceoff with UFC legend Anderson Silva in the ring.

It appears that Logan Paul won’t be getting a check from Mayweather anytime soon, which could create more tension between the two brash personalities.

What is your reaction to the Floyd Mayweather/Logan Paul drama?

  • Report: Logan Paul Sues Mayweather Over Alleged Failed Payout

Logan Paul has sued boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather for an undisclosed amount after alleging he wasn’t paid for their fight.

Paul and Mayweather competed in an eight-round exhibition last year in front of a crowd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL. The bout was an exhibition, and a winner wasn’t declared at the end of the fight.

Boxing fans have debated the fight on social media for months, with some believing that Mayweather won the fight with relative ease. But one thing that isn’t debated is that Paul and Mayweather both deserve to be paid their fair share.

Now, Paul is accusing Mayweather of spurning him of his promised payout. During a recent press conference, his brother Jake revealed that Logan has sued Mayweather.

“He really hasn’t [paid Logan],” Jake said. “There’s a lawsuit that was opened up last week or two weeks ago. They’re pressuring him both legally and behind-the-scenes, but it’s embarrassing for Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather to not have enough money to pay my brother.”

Mayweather hasn’t publically responded to the allegations and it’s unclear whether an official suit has actually been filed.

Paul is expecting a return to boxing later this year, possibly against Brazilian boxing sensation Whindersson Nunes. He’s also previously entertained the idea of fighting MMA legend Anderson Silva in the ring.

As for Mayweather, he hasn’t communicated any serious interest in returning from retirement to compete in 2022. He seems content on promoting boxers around the sport, including Gervonta Davis.

What is your reaction to Logan Paul’s accusations?

  • Khabib: My Fight With McGregor Was Bigger Than MayMac

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov believes his UFC 229 main event with Conor McGregor was a bigger fight than the Irishman’s blockbuster boxing showdown with Floyd Mayweather.

2017 saw a collision billed as “The Money Fight” and “The Biggest Fight In Combat Sports History.” It pitted undefeated 11-time five-division boxing world champion Mayweather against former two-division UFC titleholder and then-155-pound king McGregor.

While the battle of boxing vs. MMA has essentially become a norm in today’s crossover culture, back then it was as historical as it was lucrative.

Following one of the most covered and notable international media tours and build-ups combat sports has ever seen, the pair shared the squared circle inside Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. After going nine rounds with the boxing GOAT contender, McGregor was finished in the 10th frame.

The numbers behind the clash were staggering. The contest grossed a remarkable $938 million, sitting in second on the all-time list behind only Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao’s 2015 match ($960 million). That feat certainly doesn’t need any more context, but here’s some anyway; the third highest-grossing fight (Mayweather vs. Canelo Álvarez – 2013) raked in $304 million, over $600 million less than ‘The Money Fight’.

With that number in mind, it’s no surprise where Mayweather vs. McGregor sits on the pay-per-view buys ladder. Once again second to only Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, the 2017 crossover fight jumped to the #2 spot after attracting 4.3 million buys, nearly two million more than the third-placed bout.

What did all that help secure? A reported $280 million purse for “Money” Mayweather and a $130 million boost for the “Notorious” McGregor.

Khabib: McGregor vs. Mayweather Was More “Fake”

While Mayweather vs. McGregor is widely regarded as one of, if not the, biggest fights of all time, one man shares a different sentiment.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of the leading contenders in the debate surrounding the greatest of all time in the UFC, believes his own grudge match with McGregor clearly surpassed Mayweather’s.

During an appearance on the Full Send Podcast, “The Eagle” cited the background to the UFC 229 main event and the memorable nature of the fight as the reasons why no other matchup comes close, especially not the “sparring” session between Mayweather and McGregor.

“For sure this is biggest fight in history of martial arts. Nothing close, I think,” said Khabib. “Even when he fight with Mayweather, it’s like, ‘OK.’ But not many people care about this fight. It was historical event: MMA champion vs. boxing champion.

“But inside the fight, many people, they don’t even remember what happened inside the fight. For example, in what round referee stop this fight? Most of the people don’t remember,” continued Khabib. “They don’t remember because it was like sparring fight. For me, it was not real fight because (McGregor) is not real boxer. And Mayweather, what he did—for me, it was like more fake fight. This just my opinion, maybe not.

“And then what was between us, it was real. And everything (that) happened before the fight, inside the fight, after the fight (was real),” concluded Khabib.

Whether for positive or negative reasons, UFC 229 was undoubtedly one of the most memorable events in UFC history.

From the pre-fight exchanges, which saw McGregor attack Khabib’s family, religion, and country, to the fight itself, which saw the Dagestani extend his unbeaten record with a fourth-round neck crank submission, to the post-fight brawl, it’s hard to forget what transpired on October 6, 2018.

While it attracted 2.4 million PPV buys, leaving daylight to the UFC’s second-highest tally in that regard, can it be regarded as “bigger” across all aspects than Mayweather vs. McGregor? It’s certainly an interesting debate to have.

Do you agree with Khabib Nurmagomedov?

  • White Explains Why He Thinks Mayweather Hasn’t Paid Logan Paul

Dana White has a reason as to why Logan Paul allegedly hasn’t been paid by Floyd Mayweather for their exhibition out.

Paul recently came out and claimed he is still waiting to be paid by Mayweather for their June exhibition boxing bout. It was a very high-profile match that did very well on pay-per-view, but the YouTuber claims he hasn’t been paid. For White, he has a theory as to why Mayweather is keeping the money.

“Well, here’s what happens when you go in and do these fights,” White explained on the Full Send podcast (via Mirror):

“You do these fights that are exhibitions or whatever, the commission isn’t overseeing it. Let’s say I did a fight with Mike [Tyson], I’ve got Mike fighting Francis or something, the athletic commission gets the money upfront, so they pay the fighters, they don’t have to wait.

    Floyd Mayweather Logan Paul

“That was the big problem in the past is that these boxing promoters would come in and they wouldn’t make as much money as they thought they were going to do,” White continued. “So they would stiff the fighters and not pay the guys and that’s why these regulations are in place in these different states. And that’s why, I don’t want to s*** on any of the other states, but you want to fight in like Nevada or California, the guys that have a strong athletic commission.”

Whether or not what Dana White is saying is true or not is uncertain. However, he does know a lot from running the UFC so it could be the case.

In their June fight, Logan Paul did better than expected and went all eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather. However, due to it being an exhibition no winner was announced.

What do you make of Dana White’s reason as to why Floyd Mayweather hasn’t paid Logan Paul?

Long before Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor was announced, the two superstars were already involved in an inter-sport feud, as captured in the following story.

Headline: Conor McGregor Calls Out Floyd Mayweather Over Racism Comments

    Author: Eric Lynch

Conor McGregor has officially called out undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, saying the two “can organize a fight no problem.”

McGregor recently wrote a message on his Facebook page mostly addressing the media and apologizing for a photo of him with a rifle, but the note also took aim at Mayweather. McGregor responded to an interview Mayweather did in December, where the boxer said he feels the media favors McGregor over him due to racism.

“I don’t really know the McGregor guy, never seen him fight,” Mayweather told FightHype.com. “They say he talks a lot of trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I’m cocky and arrogant. So biased! Like I said before, all I’m saying is this: I ain’t racist at all, but I’m telling you racism still exists.”

McGregor, who is fresh off a 13-second knockout victory over Jose Aldo at UFC 194, fired back at “TBE” on Friday. He told Mayweather not to bring race into his success and made it clear he’s willing to fight over it. McGregor also took the opportunity to say he feels Mayweather only deserves 20% of the revenue from their potential fight, as McGregor’s last pay-per-view event may have had twice as many sales as Mayweather’s last fight against Andre Berto in September.

Here’s what the UFC featherweight champion had to say on Facebook about Mayweather:

“Floyd Mayweather, don’t ever bring race into my success again. I am an Irishman. My people have been oppressed our entire existence. And still very much are. I understand the feeling of prejudice. It is a feeling that is deep in my blood. In my family’s long history of warfare there was a time where just having the name ‘McGregor’ was punishable by death.

“Do not ever put me in a bracket like this again. If you want we can organise a fight no problem. I will give you a fair 80/20 split purse in my favour seen as your last fight bombed at every area of revenue.

“At 27 years of age I now hold the key to this game. The game answers to me now.”

Back in August, McGregor felt confident that both he and Ronda Rousey could defeat Mayweather in a hypothetical scenario.

“In a real fight I would dismantle him in seconds,” McGregor told The Guardian. “Ronda Rousey would dismantle him in seconds – 100%. When you don’t know how to grapple you don’t stand a chance. For us, it’s like playing with a baby. People who don’t understand the sport cannot understand how vulnerable they are. There are always clinches and Ronda is a judo Olympian. She would throw Floyd on his head in a second. Me? I would knock him out. Cold.”

  • AJ McKee Hopes To Test Boxing Skills Against McGregor & Mayweather

Bellator Featherweight Champion AJ McKee is hoping to test his skills against the best in combat sports, including Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

McKee has quickly developed into one of the top mixed martial artists in the world. At the age of just 26, “Mercenary” has built an unblemished 18-0 record, which includes 13 finishes, beating the likes of Darrion Caldwell and Patricio Pitbull, and having Bellator’s 145-pound strap wrapped around his waist.

After an incredible neck crank submission victory over Caldwell in November 2020 sent him to the final of the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix, McKee established himself as the top dog in the division by dethroning then-double champ Pitbull. A first-round choke secured his place on the throne and his spot amongst the global featherweight elite.

McKee Has One Eye On The Ring

Since extending his perfect record and joining the champions’ club, many have questioned how McKee compares to the top featherweight stars in the UFC. While he maintains he’s the best in the world, a sentiment shared by Bellator kingpin Scott Coker, 145-pound UFC titleholder Alexander Volkanovski isn’t so sure.

At such a young age, McKee has plenty of time to boost his skills and close any gap there might be between himself and the likes of Volkanovski and Max Holloway, and perhaps even crossover to MMA’s premier organization to challenge them. But his ambitions don’t end at facing the best in the cage.

During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, McKee revealed his aspirations to challenge the greatest across all realms of combat. With that in mind, he’s hoping to test his abilities against former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and legendary undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather inside the squared circle.

“Hell yeah (I’ll box McGregor), what’s up, he’s got a couple fights left, Showtime Boxing, let’s do it. Definitely, I’ll box anybody… I’m a fighter. I want to test my skills against the best. That’s why I’ve always called out Floyd. It’s not like, ‘Ah, I wanna beat Floyd.’ I wanna test my skills, hand-to-hand combat, with one of the best athletes in hand-to-hand combat.

“I’m down for anybody. If it’s 145, ’55, 170, boxing I’ll go up three weight classes, what do I have to lose? It ain’t affecting my mixed martial arts career record. For me, it’s all money moves and fun and games.”

With Vitor Belfort, Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz, Frank Mir, Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley all crossing over to the ring across the past year, a Mayweather and McGregor callout from a rising MMA champion isn’t as crazy as it would have seemed prior to 2021.

Should McKee continue his dominance in Bellator and possibly make the transition to the UFC, perhaps we’ll see him lace the boxing gloves against top names like “The Notorious” McGregor and “Money” Mayweather in the coming years. Having previously called out the latter, it seems that’s who McKee really has his sights set on.

Would you like to see AJ McKee test his skills in the ring against Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather?

  • Flashback To Mayweather Sr. Saying Floyd Would Get Destroyed In MMA

In a past interview, Floyd Mayweather Sr. admitted that his son would get destroyed in MMA.

In 2008, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the pound-for-pound boxing king. And at the time, there were rumors floating around that he was flirting with the idea of entering into the MMA fighting world. Mayweather Sr. did not pull any punches when addressing this topic in an interview with FightHype.com.

“All of this he talking about right now, this martial arts shit, I’m telling you, he about to get broke the fuck up right now,” Mayweather Sr. said. “I’m telling you, he could forget all of that stuff being cute and how you supposed to hit somebody with a check hook. Man, them motherfucker’s going to take that check hook motherfucker and squeeze your guts out. I’m just being real with you man.”

Nearly 10 years after these quotes were made, Mayweather teased an MMA fight with Conor McGregor during the MayMac fight promotion. That never happened, and the only crossover to take place was from MMA to boxing, with McGregor leading the charge for others to follow or attempt to follow.

Mayweather retired from the sport of boxing with a professional record of 50-0. The final win on that record came against McGregor himself. Had Mayweather decided to fight in MMA, his father believed that combat sports record wouldn’t have been flawless anymore.

“If he ever want to take a motherfuckin’ loss, you bout to take one right now motherfucker,” Mayweather Sr. said. “Go ahead and try that. One of them motherfuckers grab you and bing, bing…hit the floor twice motherfucker and it’s over with.”

“Lil Floyd about to get his ass tore up man. He ain’t about to whoop them motherfuckers. He can forget that shit!”

Mayweather Sr. would continue having a field day at the thought of his son competing in MMA, essentially roasting the very thought of Floyd Mayweather the MMA fighter.

“Man, let me tell you something, they don’t even need a referee for this shit right here. They ain’t going to need a referee because he’s going to tap his own self out if he’s able,” Mayweather Sr. continued.

“They going to break his fucking limbs. One of them motherfuckers hit him upside his fucking head and he may never be the same. I’m just telling the truth.”

“He ain’t got to worry about retiring. When they get through with his ass, he will be retired. He will be retired fucking with them motherfuckers. They would love to fight him. This ain’t no fucking boxing; ain’t none of these motherfuckers scared of his ass. I’ll fight one of them motherfuckers if they just want to throw their guards up.

“I’m old and I’ll beat they ass, but when they start talking about that going to the ground, elbows and knees and all of that, man fuck that shit. I ain’t about to go in there. Them motherfuckers dangerous man. One thing about it, them guys can take a fucking punch man. Those guys will laugh at Lil Floyd when he hit them.”

How do you think Floyd Mayweather Jr. would have fared in MMA? Do you think it would have been as bad as Mayweather Sr. thought it would be in 2008?

  • Logan Paul Alleges Floyd Mayweather Failed To Pay Him For Fight

There might’ve not been an official winner in the Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather bout earlier this year, but Paul claims he’s the financial loser.

Paul and Mayweather went the full eight rounds, with both having their moments in the ring. The bout wasn’t officially sanctioned due to the large size disparity between Paul and Mayweather, so the result was left in the hands of the viewers without an official judging decision.

Paul and Mayweather had quite the heated buildup to their exhibition, with the two sides nearly brawling at a pre-fight media day in Miami. But they appeared to squash their beef after the fight, with Mayweather going as far as to say he was impressed by Paul’s skills.

The mutual respect has appeared to run thin in recent days, as Paul accused Mayweather of failing to pay him his share for the event. He ripped the boxing legend in a recent Instagram Story post.

“Pay me my money you f***ing cornball of a human,” Paul said. (h/t The Mirror)

The Paul vs. Mayweather exhibition was a massive pay-per-view success, with the event topping at least 1 million buys on Showtime. After the fight, Mayweather seemed content on retirement and not making the Paul exhibition into a new chapter of his legendary career. He later claimed after the fight that he earned $100 million for the event.

Logan and his brother Jake took the boxing world by storm in 2021. Jake earned knockout wins over former UFC standouts Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, while Logan managed to go the distance against arguably the best boxer of all time.

It’s unclear if Paul’s allegations hold any merit, but it appears that the tension between Mayweather and the Paul brothers doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon.

What are your thoughts on Logan Paul’s accusations?

  • Archives: McGregor: I Am Going To Break Mayweather’s Face (2016)

One year prior to the blockbuster MayMac event, Conor McGregor was already calling his shot when envisioning a superbout against Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

As we know, McGregor did not emerge victorious from this historic bout, but he no doubt picked up thousands if not millions of additional fans for his promotional work leading into the fight and his valiant effort inside the boxing ring.

Here is a look back to when McGregor was hyping up a boxing match that no one ever thought would or even could happen. Yet, McGregor was arguably the biggest driving force that made it a reality. And that, in itself, is a victory.

Headline: McGregor Posts Another Mayweather Tease: “I Am Going To Break His Face”

    Author: Matt Boone

As 2016, one of the craziest years in MMA history, comes to an end, two-weight UFC World Champion Conor McGregor checks in with one last “Notorious” tweet to hype up the fantasy boxing match that fans are chomping at the bit for.

Featured below is the latest Twitter offering from UFC’s Irish-born mega-star. As seen in the tweet embedded below, McGregor posted a photo of himself wearing boxing gloves in a new split-screen shot that also features boxing’s pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather.

The caption for the photo reads: “I am going to break his face.”

As noted, “The Notorious” Conor McGregor recently acquired his boxing license for the state of California. As Mayweather pointed out, this means very little, as “Money” Mayweather typically fights in Las Vegas, Nevada, a city that McGregor has claimed he will never fight in again after what he felt was unfair treatment he received as a result of his “Bottle Gate” fiasco with Nate Diaz ahead of their UFC 202 rematch earlier this year.

As 2017 approaches, the fight world continues to wait for any real sign that a McGregor-Mayweather showdown is possible. For now, we’ll have to continue to find enjoyment out of the small teases that both McGregor and Mayweather continue to strategically keep going in the media.

Dana White has confirmed that he and Floyd Mayweather have reached a verbal agreement.

Last month, Mayweather had the combat sports world buzzing when he teased that something was in the works with the UFC president. “Money” and White had a conversation during an NBA game. Mayweather followed that up by claiming he was coming out of retirement in 2020.

White Claims Verbal Agreement In Place With Mayweather

White appeared on The Jim Rome Show and revealed that he’s hoping to put pen to paper in March (via MMAWeekly).

“It’s true. We sat at the Clippers game. We started talking and we literally got a deal done right there on the court. And if things play out the way things Floyd and I think they will, I will probably sit down with Al Haymon (Mayweather’s manager) in March and get a deal on paper.

“If everything goes our way, Floyd and I would be doing something in October or November (of 2020).”

Mayweather retired from professional boxing with a perfect 50-0 record. He wrapped up his career with a 10th-round TKO victory over former UFC “champ-champ” Conor McGregor. MMA News will keep you up to speed on further updates on the Dana White-Floyd Mayweather talks as they become available.
