  • Darren Till Drops Massive Career Update After Unbeaten Boxing Run

Darren Till Drops Massive Career Update After Unbeaten Boxing Run

Darren Till has officially brought his stint with Misfits Boxing to an end, closing the chapter on a successful run in the influencer boxing scene.

The former UFC welterweight title challenger confirmed the split via social media, revealing that the decision was made amicably after a productive year with the promotion.

“The Gorilla” competed three times under the Misfits banner in 2025, picking up wins over Anthony Taylor, Darren Stewart, and Luke Rockhold. His victory over the former UFC middleweight champ also saw him capture the inaugural bridgerweight title, capping off an impressive unbeaten run.

Despite the success, Till made it clear that the time had come to move on.

“I’ve got a very big announcement to make: I’ve parted ways with Misfits on really good terms,” Till said on Instagram. “I’m thankful for the 12 months I had with them and the three fights I had [where] I became champion. As I said, on extremely good terms. I’ve got nothing but love for Misfits and the owners and promoters, and all of the people who work behind the scenes. It’s time to try my hand at something else.”

The 33-year-old Liverpudian’s departure comes after he rebuilt momentum outside the UFC, having been released from the promotion in early 2023. His transition into boxing provided a fresh platform, and his performances suggested he still has plenty left to offer in combat sports.

Darren Till Teases ‘Massive Announcement’ After Misfits Exit

While confirming his exit, Till also hinted that his next move is already in motion and could be revealed very soon.

“Not a lot of people wanted to fight me,” Till said. “It was getting really hard to get fights, so in the next few days, I’m going to have a massive announcement. Some massive news. I’m sure you’re all going to be excited to see what I’m going to announce.

“And I just want to say thanks again to Misfits. Thanks to everyone involved, and I’ll probably be back there soon as well. This is not the end of it with Misfits.”

Although “The Gorilla” did not disclose specific details, his comments suggest that he is exploring new opportunities, which could range from a return to MMA to another high-profile venture in combat sports.

UFC Legend Alexander Gustafsson Reportedly In Deep Negotiations To Make His Boxing Debut Under Misfits Banner

Alexander Gustafsson could be back in action soon, though not inside the cage.

Even without a title to his name, Gustafsson earned recognition as one of the UFC’s premier light heavyweights, compiling an impressive record against elite competition thoughout his MMA career before retiring in 2022.

However, according to a recent report from Swedish outlet Frontkick.online, “The Mauler” is gearing up for a fresh innings in combat sports, as he is reportedly in advanced talks to make his professional boxing debut with Misfits.

The report further noted that the former multi-time UFC title challenger could square off against a fellow Octagon veteran, should everything align as expected.

When Was Alexander Gustafsson’s Last UFC Fight?

Alexander Gustafsson initially seemed to step away from active competition following a fourth-round submission defeat to former title challenger Anthony Smith at UFC Stockholm in June 2019.

However, in June 2020, Gustafsson announced he would come out of retirement to make his UFC heavyweight debut. He faced former champion Fabrício Werdum at UFC Fight Island 3 in July, but the return didn’t go as planned, as he suffered a first-round submission loss.

The 38-year-old Swede remained inactive for another two years before returning to the Octagon in July 2022, moving back down to light heavyweight to face Nikita Krylov at UFC London. Unfortunately, his comeback was cut short, as he suffered a first-round knockout loss.

The UFC Hall of Famer was ultimately released from his contract in December 2024. “The Mauler” later signed with the nascent Global Fight League (GFL MMA), but the promotion folded before hosting a single event due to unmet financial obligations.

Alexander Gustafsson boasts a professional MMA record of 18-8, including a 10-8 mark in the UFC, highlighted by impressive victories over notable fighters such as Glover Teixeira, Jimi Manuwa, and Matt Hamill.

  • “Flatline” – Fans React As Darren Till Savagely Sends Luke Rockhold To The Shadow Realm At Misfits Boxing 22

“Flatline” – Fans React As Darren Till Savagely Sends Luke Rockhold To The Shadow Realm At Misfits Boxing 22

Darren Till displayed violence in the way his fight with Luke Rockhold ended, folding him like a lawn chair in the third round to claim the inaugural Misfits Boxing bridgerweight championship in the main event of Misfits Boxing 22.

Rockhold got off to a strong start with crisp striking, but Till managed to land a pair of strong left hands late — with one of them being enough to drop Rockhold bad. Rockhold managed to get up at eight and made it into round two. Rockhold got to working the jab again during the second, but Till landed a flurry that appeared to look like it’d result in a standing eight-count — but the referee did not count it.

Till would finish things in the third round, pressuring Rockhold into the corner before landing a hard-hitting, brutal combination that dropped Rockhold out cold bad, completely flattened and mangled against the ropes.

Till was once considered a top rising name in MMA at welterweight, going 17-0-1 and challenging Tyron Woodley in a welterweight title fight at UFC 228. He’d lose the fight, starting a run of five losses in six fights over a four-year period that ended with a loss to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282. Till has since found success in boxing with an exhibition win over Mohammad Mutie and victories in Misfits Boxing earlier this year over Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart.

Rockhold went 16-6 in MMA, which includes middleweight title reigns in both Strikeforce and the UFC. Rockhold ended Chris Weidman’s undefeated record at UFC 194 to become UFC champion before dropping the title to Michael Bisping at UFC 199. After a win over David Branch, Rockhold lost three straight to end his MMA career, getting knocked out by Yoel Romero and Jan Blachowicz at UFC 221 and UFC 239, respectively, and dropping a decision to Paulo Costa at UFC 278.

“Won A Fight In The Year 2025” – Fans Rejoice, Debate Stoppage As Tony Ferguson Breaks Long Losing Streak With TKO Of Salt Papi At Misfits Boxing 22

For the first time since 2019, Tony Ferguson got his hand raised in a fight, as he scored a third-round TKO of Nathaniel “Salt Papi” Bustamante in the co-main event of Misfits Boxing 22, claiming the promotion’s interim middleweight title.

Ferguson tried to get going with pressure during the opening round, but Salt Papi connected with the cleaner shots. This continued with the second round. There, Ferguson landed more strikes, though Salt Papi notably crack Ferguson with an uppercut and landed a number of left hands.

Ferguson managed to really pressure Salt Papi during the third round, working the jab and mixing up his attacks while Salt Papi tried to look to land power blows. Ferguson then turned things up, landing a series of strong shots on Salt Papi, prompting the referee to stop the fight — much to the chagrin and protests of Salt Papi and his corner.

Ferguson, who was making his boxing debut, was once considered one of the best lightweights in MMA during his tenure with the UFC, which lasted from 2011 to 2024. Ferguson, who won season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter, went 15-1 in the UFC during the 2010s, which included 12 straight wins and a run as interim UFC lightweight champion. Ferguson’s MMA career, however, ended with eight straight losses, breaking the record for most consecutive losses in UFC history.

Salt Papi came into this bout with a 6-2 exhibition boxing record, most of which have come in Misfits Boxing. Prior to tonight, his most recent fight came in November, scoring a third-round knockout of Kenny Ojuederie.

“The Stupidest Move Ever Made In Combat Sports” – Fans Rip On Dillon Danis vs. Warren Spencer As Danis Submits Spencer In 15 Seconds At Misfits Boxing 22

Dillon Danis first MMA fight in six years was barely a fight, as he easily stopped Warren Spencer in mere seconds in Misfits Boxing’s first MMA fight to become Misifts MMA light heavyweight champion.

Spencer, who entered the ring forgetting to take off his footwear, looked to score a takedown on Danis. Danis easily stopped it and got right into full mount. Spencer then tapped out to a choke, ending the fight as quickly as it started.

Danis then called out Islam Makhachev after the fight.

Danis, a former Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi world champion, fought in MMA just twice — both in Bellator. He submitted Kyle Walker at Bellator 198 and Max Humphrey at Bellator 222.

This was Spencer’s first MMA fight. Prior to this, he had a 1-2 exhibition MMA boxing record and won his professional boxing debut against Muganzi Hakim in April.

Andrew Tate Reportedly In Deep Negotiations For Misfits Boxing Heavyweight Debut In Late 2025

Andrew Tate could be returning to combat sports before year’s end.

Tate is one of the most polarizing social media figures, drawing widespread criticism for his misogynistic views while still maintaining a strong following among young men worldwide.

Before rising to infamy for his controversial rhetoric, the 38-year-old American-born Brit made his name as a professional kickboxer, amassing a reported record of 76-9-1 with 32 victories coming by way of stoppage.

“Cobra” last competed in December 2020, earning a second-round TKO win under a regional promotion in Bucharest, Romania. Though absent from official competition since, he frequently showcases sparring footage on social media to remind fans of his fighting pedigree.

Andrew Tate Reportedly Closing In On Misfits Boxing Deal

On Tuesday, combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani reported that Andrew Tate is in advanced discussions to make his Misfits Boxing debut in a heavyweight clash slated for later this year.

Reports also suggest that a formal confirmation of Tate’s involvement could arrive as early as this Saturday during the Misfits Boxing 22 event in Manchester, England.

“Cobra” and his younger brother, Tristan Tate are entangled in a web of legal battles, facing a slew of grave allegations ranging from sexual assault and human trafficking to money laundering and leading an organized crime ring accused of exploiting women.

The Tate brothers were arrested in Romania in 2022 on these charges and remain under scrutiny, with an additional criminal investigation currently underway in Florida.

  • KSI vs. Dillon Danis Off Again As Illness Scraps Misfits Event 8 Days Out

KSI vs. Dillon Danis Off Again As Illness Scraps Misfits Event 8 Days Out

The KSI vs. Dillon Danis matchup has once again failed to make it to the ring.

Next weekend was set to see the pair’s longtime rivalry finally settled in the main event of Misfits Boxing 21 in Manchester, England. It was to come just over two years on from their first attempt at sharing the squared circle, which collapsed when Danis withdrew citing unpreparedness.

The bout has once again been postponed, but this time due to an issue on the side of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

It emerged on Friday, eight days out from the planned event inside the AO Arena, that an illness to KSI has rendered him unable to compete. The Englishman confirmed the news himself in a video posted to the Misfits Boxing X account.

With the high-profile main event off, the entire event has also been delayed.

That means a canceled return for ex-UFC title challenger Darren Till, who was slated to co-headline the March 29 card opposite another former Octagon veteran in Darren Stewart.

KSI hasn’t boxed since a decision defeat to Tommy Fury in October 2023. Dillon Danis, meanwhile, fell short to Logan Paul on the same night.

Rebooking the seemingly cursed matchup between the bitter foes could prove tricky, with the American former Bellator fighter expected to make his MMA return to face Tony Ferguson under the Global Fight League banner in either May or June.

Watch KSI Slap Dillon Danis During Misfits & DAZN X Series 21 Press Conference

The launch press conference for Misfits & DAZN X Series 21 takes place today, as headliners KSI and Dillon Danis went face to face.

British YouTube star, rapper, and celebrity boxer KSI and combat sports figure Danis are set for a second attempt at having their feud reach the ring.

After the American pulled out from their scheduled January 2023 showdown, the former Bellator MMA fighter has now stepped in to replace Wayne Bridge in the main event later this month. The contest will mark his first since a defeat to Logan Paul and comes months out from his MMA return to face Tony Ferguson in the GFL.

Misfits & DAZN X Series 21 is set for March 29 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. Below KSI vs. Danis, ex-UFC title challenger Darren Till is set to co-headline against a fellow Octagon veteran in Darren Stewart.

Out of those four, all but Till appeared at Tuesday’s launch press conference in London. See below for a replay via the official DAZN YouTube channel, followed by the highlights, including one brutal slap.

  • Darren Till Set For Second Misfits Boxing Match Against Fellow Former UFC Fighter

Darren Till Set For Second Misfits Boxing Match Against Fellow Former UFC Fighter

After a victory in his debut, former UFC star Darren Till is now set to make his second professional boxing appearance, taking on another former UFC Darren – fellow Englishman Darren Stewart.

The bout between “The Gorilla” and “The Dentist” will take place at Misfits Boxing 21 on March 29 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

The ex-UFC title challenger made his professional boxing debut just last month, scoring a sixth-round TKO of Anthony Taylor.

Till also competed in an exhibition boxing contest last July, stopping Mohammad Mutie in a bout that featured a post-fight brawl.

Darren Till vs. Darren Stewart Booked For Misfits Boxing On March 29

Till was once a rising unbeaten welterweight who made his MMA debut in 2013 and competed in the UFC between 2015 and 2022. After wins over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, he went on to lose to Tyron Woodley in a welterweight title fight at UFC 228.

“The Gorilla’s” MMA career ended with losses in five of six, with his final fight coming against current UFC Middleweight Champion Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282.

Stewart, meanwhile, competed in the UFC between 2016 and 2021, going 5-8 (2 no contests) during his tenure there. He then fought in Cage Warriors for a couple of years before announcing retirement from the sport due to financial issues. Stewart finished his MMA career with a record of 16-10 (2 no contests).

  • VIDEO: Darren Till Has Strange First Faceoff With Anthony Taylor Ahead Of Misfits Boxing Match

VIDEO: Darren Till Has Strange First Faceoff With Anthony Taylor Ahead Of Misfits Boxing Match

If there exists a list of the weirdest staredowns in combat sports, Darren Till’s recent faceoff would definitely make the top five.

Till is poised to lock horns with renowned influencer boxer Anthony Taylor in an eight-round heavyweight showdown, headlining Misfits X Series 20 on Jan. 18 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

Ahead of their showdown this weekend, Till and Taylor came together at the pre-fight press conference on Thursday. After a relatively tame exchange on the mic, the two boxers engaged in one of the most bizarre staredowns in recent memory.

Taylor made every effort to spice up the faceoff with some quirky banter during the close encounter, but “The Gorilla” remained largely unfazed. At one point, Till even walked off the stage, leaving everyone puzzled, only to return moments later.

“I’m about to make easy work of you,” Taylor said. “Yeah, I’m about to get them veneers redone for you. I want you to say something. You think you big and bad because you trained with pro boxers. Your whole team is sh*t.”

Till was originally slated to face Tommy Fury at the same event but “TNT” withdrew from the bout, citing concerns over the playful threat of being kicked by the former UFC welterweight title challenger — a warning Till jokingly issued during the promotional press conference.

“The Gorilla” has been relatively inactive since parting ways with the UFC, where he endured a challenging 1-5 record in his final six bouts. However, he returned to action in a boxing match at Social Knockouts 3 in July 2024, earning a bizarre TKO victory over Mohammad Mutie.

  • Darren Till Gets New Opponent For Misfits Boxing Debut After Tommy Fury’s Withdrawal

Darren Till Gets New Opponent For Misfits Boxing Debut After Tommy Fury’s Withdrawal

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till will still be making his combat sports return next month.

Since departing mixed martial arts’ leading promotion following a defeat to then-future middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis, which left him 1-5 across six fights since a main event win over Stephen Thompson, “The Gorilla” hasn’t been too active outside the cage.

His return came this past July in Dubai, where he faced Mohammad Mutie in an exhibition boxing match. The bout ended controversially after some rabbit punches to the back of Mutie’s head saw him choose not to continue, sparking a brawl with the Liverpudlian.

Months later, it was announced that Till would be kicking off his 2025 in a more high-profile spot, headlining the Misfits Boxing event on Jan. 18 against Tommy Fury. But “TNT,” who has already boxed both Jake Paul and KSI, withdrew recently due to fears of Till engaging in MMA tactics — a threat the former UFC star made at the press conference.

While that left Till’s status on the card uncertain, a replacement opponent has been confirmed. The promotion announced Sunday that ex-Bellator fighter and Misfits veteran Anthony Taylor will step in to face “The Gorilla” at Manchester’s Co-op Live.

The main event will be contested at heavyweight for a maximum of eight rounds.

Though Taylor has risen to prominence as part of the influencer boxing game, his combat sports tenure started out with 11 professional outings as a mixed martial artist.

With that in mind, perhaps he’ll be better suited to any “MMA tactics” Till will bring to the ring than Fury.

  • VIDEO: John Fury Goes Back & Forth With Darren Till, Sparks Near-Brawl At Misfits Boxing Press Conference

VIDEO: John Fury Goes Back & Forth With Darren Till, Sparks Near-Brawl At Misfits Boxing Press Conference

By now, it’s crystal clear — John Fury and public events are a recipe for chaos every time.

On Tuesday, Fury Sr. joined his son, Tommy Fury, and former UFC star Darren Till on stage at the kickoff press conference for their Misfits Boxing showdown, scheduled for January 2025 in Manchester.

The atmosphere at the presser intensified when “The Gorilla” fired a barb at John’s other son, Tyson Fury, mocking his first career loss to Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight title bout this past May.

Fury Sr. didn’t take the jab lightly and, consumed by rage, flung a bottle of water at Till, triggering a chaotic, melee-like scene. Security quickly intervened to disperse the escalating tension while Till aggressively pushed forward to confront the Furys.

    https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1858929134568706296

Fury and Till are set to face off in an eight-round heavyweight showdown, headlining Misfits Boxing 20 on Jan. 18 at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England.

“TNT” is coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over social media sensation KSI at the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 event in October 2023, which came on the heels of his narrow split decision win against Jake Paul. Fury remains undefeated, boasting a perfect 10-0 professional record, with four of those victories coming by knockout.

Meanwhile, “The Gorilla” made his squared circle debut at Social Knockouts 3 in July, facing off in a chaotic bout against Mohammad Mutie that escalated into a takedown and an all-out brawl inside the ring.

  • Former UFC Title Challenger Darren Till Set To Box Tommy Fury At Misfits Event

Former UFC Title Challenger Darren Till Set To Box Tommy Fury At Misfits Event

Former UFC welterweight and middleweight contender Darren Till will be returning to the boxing ring, this time making his professional debut.

Till, who competed unsuccessfully for the 170-pound gold on MMA’s biggest stage, will face Tommy Fury on Jan. 18 in the main event of a Misfits Boxing card at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

Ariel Helwani broke the news on social media this weekend.

Till competed in a boxing ring for the first time earlier this year, defeating Mohammad Mutie at an event in Dubai. The bout was infamous for Mutie being ruled unable to continue due to an injury from what appeared to be rabbit shots to the back of the head, but the two continued to brawl after the bout was declared over.

Darren Till To Make Professional Boxing Debut Against Tommy Fury

Till was once a rising English prospect who joined the UFC as an undefeated fighter in 2015. “The Gorilla” went 5-0-1 to start his UFC run, which included wins over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.

That earned him a welterweight title shot against Tyron Woodley at UFC 228, which the Scouser lost via second-round submission.

Till went on to get knocked out by Jorge Masvidal in upset fashion, marking the start of “Gamebred’s” sudden rise to superstardom. The Brit then rebounded with a decision win over Kelvin Gastelum in his middleweight debut, but he was unable to continue that winning form at 185 pounds.

“The Gorilla’s” UFC run ended with three straight losses against Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson, and current middleweight champ Dricus Du Plessis.

The 10-0 Fury, meanwhile — the half-brother of former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury — will be fighting after being inactive throughout 2024. “”TNT” handed Jake Paul his sole boxing loss in February 2023 before a decision win over KSI eight months later.

  • Former UFC Champion Benson Henderson Set For Misfits Boxing Debut

Former UFC Champion Benson Henderson Set For Misfits Boxing Debut

The next step in Benson Henderson’s career post-mixed martial arts is set, as the former UFC champion has been booked for his boxing debut.

Henderson held the lightweight title on MMA’s biggest stage between 2012 and 2013. He sits alongside Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and BJ Penn as one of four record holders for the most consecutive defenses in the division.

After his UFC stint came to an end, “Smooth” continued under the Bellator banner, challenging for gold unsuccessfully on three occasions. The most recent came in defeat against Usman Nurmagomedov in March 2023, marking his final outing in the cage.

Like many, Henderson’s MMA retirement hasn’t completely brought his combat sports story to an end. Last December, the 40-year-old debuted in the Karate Combat Pit, outpointing his fellow former UFC champ Anthony Pettis.

And Henderson is now set to dip his toes into yet another sport…

Henderson Meets Fellow UFC Vet Chris Avila In Misfits Tournament

It was announced this week that Henderson will feature on the latest card for Misfits Boxing, a crossover boxing promotion founded by English YouTube star and celebrity pugilist KSI.

To date, the likes of Logan Paul, Dillon Danis, Tommy Fury, Paige VanZant, Le’Veon Bell, and Anthony Taylor are among those who have competed at the events.

Misfits Boxing 18, set for the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, England on September 14, will see Henderson added to that list. He’s slated to do battle with another ex-UFC and Bellator fighter, Nate Diaz protégé Chris Avila.

The pair’s contest will serve as one of two light heavyweight semifinals making up a one-night tournament. In the other, Idris Virgo is set to throw down with Fes Batista, with the two winners meeting later on to crown the champion.

The main event of the influencer card will see Elle Brooke defend her MFB middleweight title against BKFC veteran Jenny Savage. The Brit was originally expected to run it back with VanZant following their draw earlier this year, but that hasn’t come to fruition.
