Marwan Rahiki continues to be an interesting name who may rise up the featherweight ranks, scoring another finish as he defeated Ollie Schmid at UFC Perth.
Schmid looked to find a way inside and pressure Rahiki, but Rahiki was ready with a counterattack, stopping Schmid before he could get ahead. Rahiki managed to drop Schmid in just a few minutes, courtesy of a counter left.
Rahiki landed some follow-up shots before the fight was halted.

Rahiki earned a UFC contract with a finish of Ananias Mulumba in October. He made his UFC debut in March, scoring a corner stoppage of Harry Hardwick after two rounds.
This marked Schmid’s UFC debut. He entered this fight as a 4-2 fighter, coming in off a 15-second knockout of Jeffrey Mesa in March.
