    Former UFC Star Darren Till Laughs At Tommy Fury’s Boxing Career ‘Nobody cares. No one’s asked’

    Darren Till seems so unimpressed by Tommy Fury’s career that the idea of fighting him doesn’t even register as a serious option.

    The two were originally set to throw down this past January, but the bout fell apart when Fury pulled out, seemingly shaken by Till’s threat to turn the boxing match into a brawl by kicking him. The warning rang out during the pre-fight press conference, leaving “TNT” apparently unwilling to gamble with the former UFC welterweight title challenger’s MMA roots.

    As a result, “The Gorilla” faced late replacement Anthony Taylor and went on to score a sixth-round TKO victory. Meanwhile, Fury returned to the ring last Friday after nearly two years away, earning a unanimous decision win over Kenan Hanjalic in Budapest, Hungary.

    With the victory, “TNT” extended his unbeaten pro record to 11-0, with the highlight of his career so far being his wins over YouTuber-turned-boxers Jake Paul and KSI in 2023.

    During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Darren Till pulled no punches when discussing Tommy Fury’s boxing career after being asked about the fallout from their canceled fight. He emphasized that there’s still a score to settle with his fellow countryman but added that he’s definitely unfazed if the fight never materializes.

    “The Gorilla” further confidently claimed he’s now a bigger draw in boxing and mocked Fury for headlining in a modest venue in Hungary.

    “Let’s just get it straight out here, please: I don’t give a f**k if I fight Tommy or Jake Paul,” Darren Till said. “Do I want to fight them? Yes, it’s a lot of money. But have you ever seen me begging for a fight with Jake Paul? No, I just don’t do that sh*t. I’m not gonna certainly beg for a fight with Tommy. So you can go off and fight in Hungary. Why are you even fighting in Hungary? Like, I’m still on Misfits, I’m still fighting on the big shows. He’s fighting in Hungary. No, nobody cares. Nobody cares. No one’s asked.”

    Darren Till secured a dominant unanimous decision victory in his sophomore boxing appearance, defeating Darren Stewart in the main event of Misfits Boxing 21 on Friday night in Derby.

    The matchup was originally scheduled for March 29 on the undercard of the KSI vs. Dillon Danis showdown. However, when the main event between the British YouTuber and Danis was scrapped, the entire card was thrown into uncertainty, delaying Till’s bout as well.

    Tommy Fury Cancels Darren Till Boxing Match After Former UFC Fighter’s ‘Kicking’ Threats

    Tommy Fury has withdrawn from his upcoming boxing match with former UFC title challenger Darren Till due to his concerns about the fight. The two men were set to meet in a main event bout at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena on a Misfits and DAZN card.

    During their recent press conference to promote the fight, Till made remarks that if he was losing the contest, he would get himself disqualified by choosing to kick Fury instead. In a post on social media, Fury claimed that for this reason, he isn’t going ahead with the fight.

    “I can’t believe I’m writing this but I am now not fighting Darren Till on January 18th 2025. For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is loosing the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics. I am a professional boxer, I have been out of the ring for over a year and I wanted to be a great BOXING fight for the fans. I have wasted weeks in training camp. We are working hard to get a new opponent and date. I promise to get a better opponent and fight for you guys. Good news around the corner.”

    Till has since responded via several social media posts and videos where he heavily criticized Fury for withdrawing from the fight for this reason when he was simply trying to sell the fight and hasn’t said anything similar since. He also called out Jake Paul, claimed that Fury was never going to fight on that date in the first place and said that he will be staying on the January 18 card in Manchester with a new opponent currently being searched for.

    The atmosphere at the presser intensified when “The Gorilla” fired a barb at John’s other son, Tyson Fury, mocking his first career loss to Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight title bout this past May.

    Fury Sr. didn’t take the jab lightly and, consumed by rage, flung a bottle of water at Till, triggering a chaotic, melee-like scene. Security quickly intervened to disperse the escalating tension while Till aggressively pushed forward to confront the Furys.

    Fury and Till are set to face off in an eight-round heavyweight showdown, headlining Misfits Boxing 20 on Jan. 18 at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England.

    “TNT” is coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over social media sensation KSI at the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 event in October 2023, which came on the heels of his narrow split decision win against Jake Paul. Fury remains undefeated, boasting a perfect 10-0 professional record, with four of those victories coming by knockout.

    Meanwhile, “The Gorilla” made his squared circle debut at Social Knockouts 3 in July, facing off in a chaotic bout against Mohammad Mutie that escalated into a takedown and an all-out brawl inside the ring.

    Former UFC welterweight and middleweight contender Darren Till will be returning to the boxing ring, this time making his professional debut.

    Till, who competed unsuccessfully for the 170-pound gold on MMA’s biggest stage, will face Tommy Fury on Jan. 18 in the main event of a Misfits Boxing card at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

    Ariel Helwani broke the news on social media this weekend.

    Till competed in a boxing ring for the first time earlier this year, defeating Mohammad Mutie at an event in Dubai. The bout was infamous for Mutie being ruled unable to continue due to an injury from what appeared to be rabbit shots to the back of the head, but the two continued to brawl after the bout was declared over.

    Darren Till To Make Professional Boxing Debut Against Tommy Fury

    Till was once a rising English prospect who joined the UFC as an undefeated fighter in 2015. “The Gorilla” went 5-0-1 to start his UFC run, which included wins over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.

    That earned him a welterweight title shot against Tyron Woodley at UFC 228, which the Scouser lost via second-round submission.

    Till went on to get knocked out by Jorge Masvidal in upset fashion, marking the start of “Gamebred’s” sudden rise to superstardom. The Brit then rebounded with a decision win over Kelvin Gastelum in his middleweight debut, but he was unable to continue that winning form at 185 pounds.

    “The Gorilla’s” UFC run ended with three straight losses against Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson, and current middleweight champ Dricus Du Plessis.

    The 10-0 Fury, meanwhile — the half-brother of former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury — will be fighting after being inactive throughout 2024. “”TNT” handed Jake Paul his sole boxing loss in February 2023 before a decision win over KSI eight months later.

    Jake Paul has plenty to focus on right now. In addition to helping the PFL with its promotion of Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira on Oct. 19 in Saudi Arabia, Paul is preparing himself for his highly anticipated boxing showdown with Mike Tyson on Nov. 15 in Dallas.

    What comes next for “The Problem Child” in the aftermath of the Tyson fight is unknown. Will he try for another boxing match? Or will he finally look to make his PFL debut after signing with the promotion at the start of 2023?

    The younger of the Paul brothers has found plenty of success in the boxing ring regardless of who has come his way — all except for one person: Tommy Fury.

    Many have wondered when a rematch between the two will come, especially given Paul and Fury failed to come to terms on a rematch, and the Brit has fought just once since their initial encounter, defeating KSI in a highly lackluster outing in October 2023.

    Though one might expect that Fury would pursue a rematch with Paul in the boxing ring, it appears he’s open to doing battle in the cage, too.

    In a recent YouTube video, Fury showed off some of his time training alongside Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall.

    In the video, Fury suggested that he is more than willing to cross over to MMA if it means getting his hands on Paul again.

    “Jake Paul’s in the PFL, isn’t he?” Fury said. “I’m going to smash his face in when I get better at MMA. I’ll beat him in boxing, and in the cage. A big useless prick. I reckon a year-and-a-half to two years of training until I’ll beat him in a [MMA] fight. It’ll be no problem in the cage.

    “He’s got the funds, he’s got the best trainers in the world, he’s got the best sparring in the world. So, he’s doing all right. But he’s no match for me. I swear to you, next time I fight him, I’ll knock him out.”

    Paul has not responded to Fury’s remarks as of writing.

    Since the loss to Fury, the Cleveland native has gone on to defeat Nate Diaz by decision and score knockouts against Andre August, Ryan Bourland, and Mike Perry.

    Woodley stepped up on short notice to rematch Jake Paul when Fury pulled out. After he was knocked out, Paul said that Woodley should box Fury. Since then, there has been no talk, but just recently, Paul’s promotion posted on social media asking if fans would want to see the fight.

    On his Instagram Stories, Woodley wrote “I’m with it,” in response to the idea of a bout against Fury.

    Although Jake Paul wants to see Tyron Woodley vs. Tommy Fury, the Brit has made it clear he wants the Paul fight rebooked.

    “I’d look to see the [Paul] fight happen by the back end of the year. I’m not really waiting around for it, he knows I’m ready to fight at all times,” Fury told Sky Sports. “I’ve put that out there countless times, I’m not the issue here. If the man wanted to fight we’d have a rescheduled date by now. The ball’s in his court, I’m ready to fight whenever. I would like to see it happen at the end of the year, I know Frank [Warren] is still trying to reach out to him and stuff like that.”

    “I sort of want him to fight Tyron Woodley and see what happens there. Because I think Tyron would knock Tommy out, so, I almost want to have them fight. Then, maybe we could run it back after that,” Paul later added on The MMA Hour.

    Tyron Woodley is 0-2 in boxing as he suffered the KO loss to Paul in December and dropped a split decision to Paul in August. Prior to that, he was on a four-fight losing streak in the UFC after losing his belt.

    Tommy Fury, meanwhile, is 7-0 as a pro boxer and coming off a decision win over Bellator veteran Anthony Taylor last time out. He hasn’t fought anyone of note in his career.

    YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has revealed what it would take for him to agree to a rescheduled boxing match with professional pugilist Tommy Fury.

    From fighting fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib to challenging a former UFC champion, Paul’s venture into the combat sports realm has certainly picked up in recent months, both in terms of prominence and competition.

    In his third professional fight last April, “The Problem Child” knocked out former ONE and Bellator welterweight titleholder Ben Askren. In another step-up four months later, Paul defeated former 170-pound UFC king Tyron Woodley on the scorecards.

    With two victories over MMA fighters, Paul’s next test was set to see him stand face-to-face with a pro boxer for the first time. That collapsed when his scheduled December foe, the younger half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, withdrew due to injury.

    In his place on short notice stepped in Woodley. While “The Chosen One” targeted redemption and revenge, he was instead left with a second consecutive loss to Paul and, courtesy of a brutal right hand, likely a headache…

    Paul Reveals The Fury Fight Isn’t Dead In The Water Just Yet

    Since extending his record in the ring to 5-0, talk has turned to who could be the next man attempting to get rid of Jake Paul’s 0. One man who has consistently held his hand aloft is Tommy Fury.

    When he pulled out of their December fight, “TNT” made it clear he wanted the bout re-arranged. That sentiment has continued into 2022, with Fury suggesting Paul can’t be serious about the sport if he doesn’t agree to reschedule their fight.

    But while Paul has previously appeared to hold no interest in re-booking his meeting in the squared circle with the Manchester native, he has now sprinkled some hope onto the matchup.

    During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Paul suggested he’d be down to face Fury if he fights and defeats former opponent Woodley first.

    “I sort of want him to fight Tyron Woodley and see what happens there,” said Paul. “Because I think Tyron would knock Tommy out. And so I almost wanna have them fight. Because Tommy, people only know him because of me. And so I want him to like, go get some of your own fans, or clout, or go do some other thing, and then maybe we could run it back after that.”

    With many, including former two-division UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen, suggesting the same match as Paul, it appears Fury’s path back to “The Problem Child” will have to go through Woodley.

    Given his aspirations to climb the boxing ranks and become a champion, it remains to be seen if Fury will choose to delay those ambitions for two fights against a former UFC titleholder and a YouTuber-turned-boxer.

  • Vitor Belfort Wants To Fight Tommy Fury After Triller Triad Bout

    Vitor Belfort has his eyes on Tommy Fury next time out.

    Belfort is set to return at Triller Triad Combat 2 on February 26 against Chad Dawson. The former UFC champion is coming off the TKO win over Evander Holyfield in an exhibition bout in Triller Fight Club Legends 2 back in September.

    Now, even before he returns against Dawson, Belfort has his eyes on Fury and wants that fight next. He believes it makes sense as he doesn’t think the Brit should be focused on fighting Jake Paul. Instead, Belfort says Fury should want to face a real fighter.

    “I will fight him anytime,” Belfort told theScore. “Tommy Fury, it’s a shame you were going to fight Jake Paul. Fighting a YouTuber is a shame. (Paul) is a piece of shit. Not as a person —as a fighter. Tommy Fury, I’m up to the challenge,” he continued. “Let’s make this duel.”

    Fury, of course, was scheduled to fight Paul in the main event of a Showtime boxing pay-per-view card in December. However, the undefeated boxer was forced out of the bout with broken ribs and an infection.

    Since he pulled out, Tommy Fury campaigned to get the fight rebooked, but Belfort clearly hopes that doesn’t happen. Although Belfort is a former UFC champion, Fury would get more eyes on him if he were to box Paul and defeat him. It would also be a bigger payday for the Brit.

    At this time, it does seem unlikely Fury would box Belfort, as the Brazilian has his own fight on February 26. Should he win, then perhaps it might make sense, but Fury has yet to respond.

    Tommy Fury is still interested in fighting Jake Paul next.

    Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion, Tyson, was set to box Paul in the main event of a Showtime boxing pay-per-view in December in Tampa. However, less than two weeks before the fight, the Brit was forced out of the bout citing a chest infection and a broken rib.

    With Fury being out, Paul then rematched Tyron Woodley who he subsequently knocked out in the sixth round. Since then, Tommy Fury has made it clear he wants that fight back and says the ball is in Jake Paul’s court to make it happen.

    “Make no mistake, that’s the fight I want next and I’ll always be checking in with my team every day to see where we’re up to with that,” Fury said on The MMA Hour. “But there comes a time where I have my own career. My goal still doesn’t change. My goal is to be a champion in this sport and, believe it or not, fighting Jake Paul doesn’t give me that at all. Fighting Jake Paul will never make me a champion in boxing. So, Jake Paul, yeah it’s a great fight, it’s a big fight, but it doesn’t really make me achieve my dreams.

    “So at the end of the day, I’ll wait for a certain amount of time. I’m trying my best to get this fight back on track,” Fury continued. “You talk to anybody, this is the fight I wan. I’ll wait for him an amount of time, it comes off, great, if it doesn’t, I will resume my career and start winning some titles. That’s just the way life is.

    “The ball is in Jake Paul’s court now. I’m doing everything I can with my team to get this fight rescheduled.”

    Jake Paul had said he wanted to take some time off after his last win so whether or not the Tommy Fury fight will be rescheduled is uncertain. If it isn’t, the 7-0 boxer in Fury will look to make his return in the spring as he looks to eventually become a world champion.

  • Sonnen Shares How Tommy Fury Can “Earn” Fight Against Jake Paul

    Former UFC star Chael Sonnen thinks he has the recipe for Tommy Fury to get his long-awaited fight with Jake Paul in the boxing ring.

    Fury was supposed to face Paul just last month before he had to pull out due to an injury. Paul ended up knocking out Tyron Woodley in the sixth round on short notice.

    Paul has appeared to take his attention away from rescheduling a fight with Fury and is instead interested in a fight with Julio César Chávez Jr. Fury is anticipating a return to the ring as soon as March and is hopeful the two sides can agree on a bout in 2022.

    Sonnen is a bit more optimistic regarding Fury’s chances at getting a Paul fight booked. During a recent segment on his YouTube channel, he detailed how Fury can earn the attention of Paul and get the fight he wants.

    “You wanna know a fight that would work throw Tommy Fury in there with Tyron Woodley,” Sonnen said. “If Tommy can show that he can handle himself with Tyron, then Tommy will belong in there with Jake afterward. The problem with doing that is that Tommy can’t beat Tyron Woodley.

    “Tommy would not beat Tyron and if Tommy wouldn’t show up to face Jake because of the pressures that came with that, then it’s going to be even more pressure to fight a guy who Jake has beaten twice. And he wouldn’t show up for that trust me!” (h/t Mirror)

    Woodley has alluded to an active 2022, regardless of how his last fight with Paul resulted. Fury is undefeated in his young boxing career despite a questionable run of opponents on his record.

    Fury and Woodley don’t seem to have any beef between the two of them, which could potentially make it a hard fight to sell. However, a Fury victory could certainly get the attention necessary for a possible fight with Paul shortly.

    After Fury suffered a chest infection and an injured rib, it was believed that he could be sidelined from the ring for a while. Despite this, he’s anticipating a profound return to the ring in hopes of making a Paul fight come to fruition.

    The polarizing YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul is moving on from the idea of a Tommy Fury fight as he turns his attention to Julio César Chávez Jr.

    There had been reports of Paul being interested in fighting Chávez Jr. since days after his Tyron Woodley rematch, and Chávez Jr. has also discussed the potential bout. Paul was originally supposed to face Tommy Fury instead of Woodley, but Fury pulled out of the fight roughly two weeks prior to the event.

    During a recent interview on the Boxing with Chris Mannix podcast, Paul confirmed his interest in a possible matchup with Chávez Jr. for his next challenge in the ring instead of rescheduling the Fury Fight.

    “It’s interesting. I like that fight a lot, because it silences the critics,” Paul said.

    “He was a former world champion, and I know I could beat him. And you look at his record, it’s like 50 wins or something, and I don’t even know the losses, but it’s a good record. So that challenge excites me and I’m down.

    “And this is what people don’t understand is that, even after I knocked out Woodley, they were all like, ‘Fight a real boxer.’

    Jake Paul Has Hinted At Taking Time Off From Boxing

    Despite speculation running rampant regarding Paul’s next fight, he has alluded to taking some time off from the ring after a busy 2021. Paul earned a vicious knockout over Ben Askren before back-to-back wins over Woodley.

    Paul first hinted at taking time off from the ring after his split-decision win over Woodley last August. However, his interest in fighting Chavez Jr. may lure him back to the fight game sooner than expected.

    Paul has remained active in the gym and on social media, as shown in recent footage of him practicing leg kicks in a teased move to MMA. Fans and critics of Paul have called for him to face a true boxer over the past year, and it sounds like it could be close to happening.

    Fury Provides A Timeframe For Return

    Immediately after the cancelation of his second fight on US soil, Fury took to Instagram to explain his injury, saying he was hoping to get the fight re-booked for 2022. While we’ve seen little updates or enthusiasm for the same on Paul’s side, Fury has continued to pursue a second date with “The Problem Child.”

    During a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour, Fury stated there’s “unfinished business” between himself and the YouTuber-turned-boxer. He then provided an update on his recovery, claiming he’ll be ready to throw hands with Paul as soon as March.

    “There is unfinished business here, and this fight has to take place,” said Fury. “My recovery process is going amazing. I’ve got another MRI booked in for the middle of this month to see where the rib is. Once I get confirmation that it’s healing or it’s healed, or whatever I’m up to, then I’ll return back to the gym and I’ll be ready to go.

    “I said in a recent interview, I’ll be ready to go in March,” Fury added. “If Jake Paul really is serious about boxing, I’m ready to go in March. What happened in December was out of my hands, but March, I’m ready.”

    In Fury’s absence, Paul brutally knocked out Woodley in Florida. While the win didn’t legitimize his presence in the ring as much as a victory over Fury would have, it certainly went some lengths to doing so.

    “The Problem Child” now boasts an unblemished 5-0 record and has finished every opponent he has faced. While Fury wants to become the first professional pugilist to test Paul’s skills, the Cleveland native is seemingly more interested in bouts against UFC stars Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.

    Paul Is Still The Fight Fury Wants

    Despite claiming he’s targeting titles and killers in the ring this year, Fury has admitted the scale of a matchup with a star like Paul, along with the handsome paycheck, has him keen on putting the fight back together. But with Paul’s focus seemingly being on UFC stars Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, it remains to be seen if his wish will be granted.

    During a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour, Fury claimed that if Paul doesn’t look to reschedule their match, it will prove he simply isn’t serious about fighting and the sport of boxing.

    “My only thing that I wanna get done now is this fight to reschedule,” said Fury. “When somebody gets an injury that is out of their hands, completely out the hands with a broken rib, the first thing that I’d look to do, if I’m serious about fighting and seriously think I could’ve beat that guy, I would have thought, ‘Okay, no problem, you’re out, when can we reschedule?’ I’d wanna reschedule, and I’d want to prove to the world that I can beat a serious boxer, not just another MMA guy.

    “That’s what we’re trying to get over at the minute. I know he’s offering (fights) to all kinds of people, but the fact of the matter is, there’s unfinished business here and this fight needs to take place,” added Fury. “How can he be serious about fighting if he’s never fought a boxer before? How can he be serious about this?

    “He keeps referring to the UFC, if he wants to go and fight in the UFC, don’t put a pair of boxing gloves on. Don’t call yourself a boxer if you’ve never even fought one.”

    In recent days, Jake Paul has actually created an opportunity for his presence in the sport of boxing to dwindle. Taking on Dana White and the UFC’s fighter pay structure, as he often has since stepping into the combat sports limelight, “The Problem Child” laid down a challenge.

    He’s offered to enter the USADA testing pool for a fight against Masvidal inside the Octagon, and with it, his retirement from boxing. For that to happen, White must fulfill a number of clauses relating to the pay of UFC athletes and healthcare coverage.

    With White’s hatred of Paul meaning the offer is extremely unlikely to be met with a serious response, it stands to reason we’ll be seeing the YouTube star enter the squared circle again in 2022. Tommy Fury will be hoping he’s the one standing opposite Paul when it happens.

    The fight between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury did make some sense due to the fact they are both massive social media stars and are both young and undefeated. Most importantly, Fury is also a real pro boxer, which many people have been clamoring for Paul to fight.

    Fury has also made it clear he wants to box Paul next and promises he would’ve KO’d the YouTuber in the first round had he boxed Paul last weekend.

    “If that was me in the ring on Saturday night, it wouldn’t have got out of the opening bell,” Fury said.

    Tommy Fury’s father, John, revealed how Tommy sustained his broken ribs.

    Fury was supposed to box Jake Paul on December 18 in the main event of a Showtime boxing pay-per-view. Yet, recently it was revealed the Englishman was forced out of the bout due to an injury including a broken rib, which John says happened due to an idiot in the gym.

    “He’s had a bacterial chest infection for about six or seven weeks, but that didn’t bother us, we were going to battle through that,” John Fury said to Behind The Gloves (via Mirror). “But owing to a complete idiot in the gym, punched him in the ribs. A man of 16 or 17 stone with his bare-knuckle, punched him in the ribs and broke his ribs. At the end of the day, I was horrified, we were going to try and battle through it, because when we got him x-rayed they said, ‘No, it’s just bruised, it’s ligament damage’. And then, he was sparring and he couldn’t throw a punch, he couldn’t move.

    “He said, ‘Look, I’m in bad pain dad.’ He said to Tyson, ‘I’m in bad pain, I can’t move’. So, I took him to a specialist in Manchester, they x-rayed him properly and the finding was there. Broke ribs, what can you do? Chest infection, broke ribs, it’s unfortunate, it’s cost a lot of money, people have lost a lot of money, the disappointment is immense for Tommy and us. But, we’ll bounce back, we’re fighters, if you want to reschedule, that’s not a problem,” Fury continued.

    As John mentions, the injury is no doubt disappointing to Tommy Fury as this was supposed to be a massive fight for him. However, the hope for him is he can rebook the Jake Paul fight assuming he gets past Tyron Woodley again on December 18.

    Paul and his brother Logan are at the pinnacle of boxing fandom. They are making big money and a fight with them is very lucrative for their opponents. Paul is reluctant to offer this opportunity to Fury again after he pulled out two weeks before the fight. he names one condition he has to contemplate making the rescheduling of this fight.

    “I don’t like them, I don’t like anything to do with that family. I think they’re sketchy, I think they’re shady, I don’t see really a reason to come back next year and give him that big of an opportunity or that big of a payday,” he explained. “It would almost be more fun and more satisfying to leave him in the dust. Make him fight until he is 25-0 if he gets that far, to get the same payday that he was getting in his eighth fight.”

    Now that Woodley is back in the ring with Paul, he has the opportunity to make the big money. He mentioned in the leadup to their last fight that he was making more than he did in the UFC. Now, there is a clause that if he knocks out Paul he will receive an additional $500,000. Paul has not suffered a loss yet in his short professional career.

    While it may have made sense for Jake Paul to fight Tyron Woodley again, considering the short notice nature of the fight and the fact that he already won their first fight, there was still an interest in seeing the Tommy Fury fight happen. However, the YouTuber turned boxer has his doubts that the fight will ever happen.

    Paul says that “Tommy Fumbles” has fumbled the bag once again, and that he does not necessarily want to give him the chance to do it again. He would hate to have the fight scheduled again, only for Fury to withdraw again.

    “I don’t know. I don’t know how I feel about it. For me, I almost don’t want to give him the opportunity. And let’s say I do. Let’s say I get over the emotional part of it and I’m like, ‘OK, I’ll give him this opportunity.’ Who knows if he’s gonna back out or have some excuse then or have the chest infection or not show up at the press conference? So it’s looking bad for him. And part of me just wants to be cynical and not ever give him this payday or this opportunity ever again,” Paul said.

    Bisping Criticizes Paul’s “Bizarre” Stance

    According to Fury’s camp, Paul has refused the implementation of drug testing ahead of their eight-round boxing match in Tampa. Despite it being unclear whether the YouTube sensation was tested against AnEsonGib or Askren, it was confirmed that he had been for his August victory over Woodley.
