    Women’s Pound-for-Pound: No changes.

Women’s Strawweight: Iasmin Lucindo’s charge up the UFC rankings was stalled on Saturday by Amanda Lemos. As a result, the young contender has dropped one spot to #8, elevating Amanda Ribas to #7.

    Featherweight: No changes.

Lightweight: Ignacio Bahamondes has been rewarded for his submission victory at UFC 313, arriving in the lightweight UFC rankings at #15. His opponent, Jalin Turner, announced his retirement in the aftermath, and he’s now out of the top 15. Those changes have seen Benoît Saint Denis move up by two places to #13 despite his current two-fight losing skid.

    Welterweight: No changes.

Middleweight: There’s been some movement at 185 pounds unrelated to UFC 313. Both Paulo Costa (#11) and Reinier de Ridder (#13) are on the up, while Roman Dolidze (#12), Michel Pereira (#14), and Roman Kopylov (#15) have all moved down one spot each.

UFC Rankings Report: Reinier de Ridder Ousts Bo Nickal From Middleweight Top 15

In the aftermath of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Seattle, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

Men’s Pound-For-Pound: There’s been one change to the P4P list, with former welterweight champ Leon Edwards getting a one-place boost to now share #9 with flyweight kingpin Alexandre Pantoja.

    Women’s Pound-for-Pound: No changes.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight: With Julia Avila’s retirement being confirmed, she’s exited the UFC rankings at 135 pounds. Replacing her at #15 is Joselyne Edwards, who has won just one bantamweight bout in nine fights in the promotion. That was in her debut, with the Panama native either losing or missing weight for her subsequent wins.

    Flyweight: No changes.

Bantamweight: While the victory didn’t come in the manner he’d have hoped, Song Yadong is still on the up at 135 pounds. A technical decision triumph over Henry Cejudo has led to the Chinese standout climbing two positions to #6. “Triple C” has fallen the same distance the opposite way to #8, with Rob Font getting a small rise to #7 after his win against Jean Matsumoto.

Further down, and unrelated to any recent results, Canada’s Aiemann Zahabi (#13) has moved above Marcus McGhee (#14).

    Featherweight: No changes.

    Lightweight: No changes.

    Welterweight: No changes.

Middleweight: Anthony Hernandez was among the biggest winners to emerge from Saturday’s event, as he once again got the better of Brendan Allen to extend his winning run to seven straight fights. As a result, “Fluffy” has risen by three positions to #9, one place above his defeated opponent from UFC Seattle.

Elsewhere, Bo Nickal’s stay in the rankings was a short one. He’s been ousted after just weeks in the pecking order, replaced at #15 by Reinier de Ridder, who moved to 2-0 in the UFC with a victory over Kevin Holland last month.

Light Heavyweight: After snapping his two-fight losing skid with a narrow split decision win over debutant Julius Walker this past weekend, Alonzo Menifield has climbed one spot up the UFC rankings at 205 pounds to #14. That’s left veteran former title challenger Anthony Smith at #15 ahead of what is expected to be his final fight this coming April.

UFC Rankings Report: Youssef Zalal Enters Featherweight Top 15

In the aftermath of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night at the Apex, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

    Men’s Pound-For-Pound: No changes.

    Women’s Pound-for-Pound: No changes.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight: Julia Avila fell short at the Apex opposite Jacqueline Cavalcanti. While she subsequently retired, she’s kept her spot in the UFC rankings for now, dropping three spots to #15. The Brazilian, meanwhile, is up two places to #11. Also on the rise is Nora Cornolle, who’s benefitted from recent results to surge up two spots to #13.

Inside the top 10, Ailín Pérez (#8) will likely not be happy to have had her recent rise take a hit. Despite coming off a win streak, the Argentine has fallen back behind Mayra Bueno Silva (#7), who has lost three straight.

    Flyweight: No changes.

Bantamweight: Unrelated to the latest event, Marcus McGhee has moved up one place to #13 at 135 pounds, now leaving him above Aiemann Zahabi (#14).

Featherweight: One of the biggest winners to emerge from UFC Vegas 102 was Youssef Zalal, who remained unbeaten since returning to the promotion by outpointing Calvin Kattar. As a result, he’s debuted in the UFC rankings at #12. The defeated Kattar, meanwhile, has slipped four positions to #14.

That change has notably boosted Lerone Murphy into the top 10 and ousted Edson Barboza from the list entirely.

Lightweight: In a somewhat random switch, Grant Dawson has jumped France’s Benoît Saint Denis into #14, leaving “God of War” on the brink of losing his number in the UFC rankings.

    Welterweight: No changes.

    Middleweight: No changes.

    Light Heavyweight: No changes.

Heavyweight: Don’Tale Mayes’ inclusion in the heavyweight top 15 puzzled many, and he didn’t last long. Following a quick submission loss this past weekend, the American has fallen out of the rankings. Despite Valter Walker defeating him, the Brazilian isn’t the fighter who’s replaced Mayes. The #15-ranked heavyweight is instead Tallison Teixeira, who knocked out Justin Tafa earlier this month in Sydney.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

Women’s Flyweight: Jasmine Jasudavicius was among the biggest winners to emerge from this past weekend’s event, where she made it four wins on the bounce at the expense of ex-bantamweight title challenger Mayra Bueno Silva. As a result, the Canadian has climbed three spots at 125 pounds to #9.

Despite the defeat, “Sheetara” has entered the list at #15, leaving her ranked in two divisions simultaneously. The Brazilian has been joined as a new entrant this week by Casey O’Neill (#14). Making way for those two new arrivals are Katlyn Cerminara and Amanda Ribas.

Women’s Bantamweight: Ailín Pérez was not best pleased to remain below the woman she defeated in Los Angeles last month, Karol Rosa, following the subsequent update to the UFC rankings. And her complaints have paid off, with the Argentine rising a further four spots this week to #7.

    Flyweight: No changes.

    Bantamweight: No changes.

    Featherweight: No changes.

    Lightweight: No changes.

    Welterweight: No changes.

Middleweight: The biggest win of Nassourdine Imavov’s career to date in Saturday’s headliner has left him as the #2-ranked contender at 185 pounds. The man he knocked out, Israel Adesanya, has slipped below the Frenchman and Khamzat Chimaev to #4. Also in the top 10, there’s been a switch of positions between Jared Cannonier and Marvin Vettori. “The Killa Gorilla” has been boosted to #7, with the Italian a place worse off at #8.

There’s also been significant changes toward the bottom of the ladder, with both Roman Kopylov and Bo Nickal entering the top 15 this week. With Shara Magomedov and Jack Hermansson taken out, the Russian and American middleweights pair now occupy #14 and #15, respectively.

    Light Heavyweight: No changes.

Heavyweight: There’s also two new names in the heavyweight UFC rankings. Don’Tale Mayes (#14) now has a number next to his name despite a 4-5 record in the UFC, not to mention his defeat last time out. That’s in addition to Jhonata Diniz (#15), who also lost his most recent fight. Those two have entered at the expense of the recently released Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Marcos Rogério de Lima.

Further down, former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira (#15) has returned to the list as a result of his triumph over Michael Chandler on Saturday night. That’s left ex-middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya without a number entirely.

    Men’s Pound-For-Pound: No changes.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: Erin Blanchfield may have stayed put at flyweight following her win over Rose Namajunas this past weekend, but she has received a small boost up the P4P ladder. “Cold Blooded” has climbed one place to #6. Her defeated opponent, meanwhile, is two spots worse off at #8.

In a bizarre UFC rankings switch further down, Jéssica Andrade (#13) has leapfrogged Natália Silva (#14). That’s despite the former strawweight queen losing to Silva this past September.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

Women’s Flyweight: While she’s been the victim of an odd change on the P4P list, Silva has completed her ascent into the top five at 125 pounds. That’s courtesy of Namajunas’ loss in Edmonton, which has seen her fall to #6.

Toward the bottom of the top 15, Jasmine Jasudavicius has continued to rise following an impressive submission win over Ariane da Silva. The Canadian now finds herself in the #13 position, one place above her Brazilian counterpart.

Women’s Bantamweight: Following Germaine de Randamie’s retirement, the former champ has been removed from the UFC rankings at 135 pounds and replaced by Jacqueline Cavalcanti (#15).

Flyweight: Having been released, Matheus Nicolau has departed the 125-pound list. In his place comes Matt Schnell at #15, despite “Danger” exiting recently after announcing his retirement earlier in the year. The changes have paved the way for the in-form Charles Johnson to climb two places to #13.

Within the top 10, Manel Kape has further fallen months on from his loss to Muhammad Mokaev. He’s now ranked #9, with Australia’s Steve Erceg benefitting with a small boost to #8.

Bantamweight: Aiemann Zahabi extended his winning run on home soil this past weekend, and it’s secured a number next to his name for the first time. The Canadian 36-year-old has debuted in the UFC rankings at #14, replacing the legendary Dominick Cruz on the list.

    Featherweight: No changes.

    Lightweight: No changes.

    Welterweight: No changes.

    Middleweight: No changes.

    Light Heavyweight: No changes.

Heavyweight: After their prelim in the “Great White North,” both the defeated Rodrigo Nascimento and out-of-contract Alexandr Romanov have found themselves outside the rankings. As a result, Waldo Cortes-Acosta (#14) and the undefeated Mick Parkin (#15) have arrived in the heavyweight contenders’ list.

UFC Rankings Report: Charles Oliveira Off P4P List, Shara Magomedov Gets MW Number After UFC 308 Knockout

As always, the latest action on offer inside the Octagon has seen some climb the ladder toward contention and others fall away.

And in the aftermath of UFC 308, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

Men’s Pound-For-Pound: For the first time since his May 2021 title crowning, Charles Oliveira is off the P4P list. The Brazilian lightweight has exited the top 15 to make way for ex-middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya’s return (#15). Further up, meanwhile, Max Holloway has fallen one place below Alexandre Pantoja (#11) to #12 after his defeat to Ilia Topuria at UFC 308.

    Women’s Pound-for-Pound: No changes.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

    Women’s Bantamweight: No changes.

    Flyweight: No changes.

    Bantamweight: No changes.

Featherweight: Lerone Murphy has received a small UFC rankings boost following his win over Dan Ige in Abu Dhabi. He’s risen by one place to #11 at 145 pounds, jumping Giga Chikadze (#12) in the process.

Lightweight: Renato Moicano made his frustrations with the rankings known in the aftermath of his dominant win over Benoît Saint Denis last month. It’s taken a while, but the Brazilian has finally been pushed into the top 10. He’s now sharing the #10 spot with Rafael Fiziev.

    Welterweight: No changes.

Middleweight: The biggest mover this week was unsurprisingly the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev, who achieved his biggest win to date by brutally submitting Robert Whittaker with a face crank at UFC 308. Days on, “Borz” has climbed a mammoth 10 places to #3. The defeated “Reaper” is now ranked #4.

Further down, Shara Magomedov’s double spinning backfist knockout of Armen Petrosyan to open Saturday’s PPV card has earned him a number next to his name. The Dagestani has entered the UFC rankings at #14, one place above Michel Pereira. His entry has been facilitated by the removal of Chris Curtis.

Light Heavyweight: Magomed Ankalaev couldn’t rise as a result of his victory over Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 308, but he does now have less company. The Russian no longer shares the #1 spot, with former champ Jiří Procházka slipping back to #2.

    Heavyweight: No changes.

UFC Rankings Report: Max Holloway Gets Big LW Boost After Dana White’s Complaints

As always, the latest action on offer inside the UFC Octagon has been followed by the release of the updated rankings.

And in the aftermath of UFC Fight Night: Anthony Hernandez vs. Michel Pereira, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

    Men’s Pound-For-Pound: No changes.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: The bad fortune has continued to come for Raquel Pennington. A few weeks on from losing the bantamweight title at UFC 307, “Rocky” has further fallen down the P4P ladder to #9, being usurped by a victor at that event in Kayla Harrison (#8).

Further down, Maycee Barber has entered at #15, replacing former strawweight title challenger Amanda Lemos.

Women’s Strawweight: There was just one change at 115 pounds, with the rising Iasmin Lucindo (#7) swapping places with her fellow countrywoman Amanda Lemos (#8).

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

    Women’s Bantamweight: No changes.

Flyweight: The biggest mover this week was Asu Almabayev, who has climbed a mammoth seven places to #7 after defeating Matheus Nicolau this past weekend. The defeated Brazilian, meanwhile, has dropped three spots to #10.

Further down, Charles Johnson’s latest victory this year has earned him the #15 spot. His entry has seen the removal of Matt Schnell, who announced his plans to retire earlier this year.

Bantamweight: Rob Font returned to winning ways at the expense of Kyler Phillips in Saturday’s co-headliner. As a result, the longtime contender has climbed one position to share #9 with Mario Bautista.

    Featherweight: No changes.

Lightweight: Not long after UFC CEO Dana White used Max Holloway’s low spot in the 155-pound rankings as evidence that change is needed, “Blessed” has received a big boost. Ahead of his featherweight title challenge, the Hawaiian has risen by three places to #5 in the lightweight division.

That’s meant Dan Hooker’s stay in the top five was a brief one, with the New Zealander down to #6 after initially returning to the upper echelon of the weight class following a win over Mateusz Gamrot.

    Welterweight: No changes.

Middleweight: Anthony Hernandez has received a small reward for his main event win over Michel Pereira on Oct. 19. He’s up one spot to #12, leaving Khamzat Chimaev a position worse off at #13.

Light Heavyweight: After being snubbed of the latest shot at champion Alex Pereira, Magomed Ankalaev has moved up one place to share the #1 rank in the division alongside former titleholder Jiří Procházka.

Lower down the pecking order, Volkan Oezdemir has been relegated two spots to #8, providing small boosts for Nikita Krylov (#6) and recent title challenger Khalil Rountree (#7).

UFC Rankings Report: Colby Covington Falls, Max Holloway Gets Lightweight Boost

As always, the latest action on offer inside the Octagon has seen some climb the ladder toward contention and others fall away.

And in the aftermath of UFC 307, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

    Men’s Pound-For-Pound: No changes.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: Julianna Peña’s regaining of the bantamweight title this past weekend was only enough to move her above Manon Fiorot to #4 on the P4P list, keeping her below the other two female champions in the UFC and Alexa Grasso.

Women’s Strawweight: Tecia Pennington ensured that Carla Esparza’s career would end in defeat at UFC 307, falling on the right side of a split decision. As a result, “The Tiny Tornado” has returned to the rankings at #15, with Karolina Kowalkiewicz making way.

Another strawweight victor in Salt Lake City was Iasmin Lucindo, who has climbed a mammoth six positions to #8 following her win over Marina Rodriguez. The defeated Brazilian has slipped three spots to #9, allowing for small boosts for both Mackenzie Dern (#6) and Amanda Ribas (#7)

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight: After losing the gold in her first defense, Raquel Pennington has slipped back to top contender status at 125 pounds. She’s one place above Kayla Harrison, whose victory over Ketlen Vieira has seen her become the #2-ranked bantamweight contender.

    Flyweight: No changes.

Bantamweight: The backlash toward Mario Bautista for his victorious performance over José Aldo has not prevented a rise into the top 10. The 31-year-old now sits at #9, with his defeated opponent one place worse off than he entered UFC 307 in at #11.

Unrelated to the events of UFC 307, meanwhile, Marlon Vera (#6) has moved above former champion Henry Cejudo (#7).

    Featherweight: No changes.

Lightweight: Weeks out from his featherweight title challenge — and months on from his lightweight triumph over Justin Gaethje — BMF titleholder Max Holloway has moved deeper into the top 10 at 155 pounds. “Blessed” has climbed two places to #8, leaving him above Mateusz Gamrot (#9) and Rafael Fiziev (#10).

Welterweight: At 170 pounds, Colby Covington has dropped further from title contention. “Chaos” is now out of the top five and occupies #6, having surrendered his position to Sean Brady.

Further down the pecking order, Joaquin Buckley is up two places to #9 following his late knockout of Stephen Thompson at UFC 307. “Wonderboy” is now down at #11.

Middleweight: He may not have had his hand raised in a desired manner, but Roman Dolidze is still on the up after UFC 307. The Georgian benefitted from a rib injury suffered by Kevin Holland during a grappling exchange and has been rewarded with a one-spot rise to #9, a position he shares with Paulo Costa.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

    Women’s Flyweight: No changes.

Women’s Bantamweight: Ailín Pérez secured one of the standout wins on Saturday’s preliminary card, submitting Russia’s Darya Zheleznyakova to make it four victories on the bounce. While she did miss weight for the contest, the Argentine has still received a small boost in the rankings, jumping one place above Chelsea Chandler (#15) to #14.

    Flyweight: No changes.

    Bantamweight: No changes.

Featherweight: Brian Ortega has slipped out of the top five at 145 pounds a couple of weeks on from his defeat at Noche UFC. “T-City” has found himself at #6, with Movsar Evloev getting boosted to #5 a few months out from his return against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 310.

Lightweight: There was no movement at 155 pounds this week, and that’s despite Moicano’s headline win in Paris. His beatdown on Saint Denis was evidently not enough to warrant him a spot in the top 10 in the eyes of the rankings panel, who have kept the Brazilian unmoved at #11.

UFC Rankings Report: Dvalishvili Lands Above Aspinall In P4P Top 10, Muhammad Jumps Du Plessis

As always, the latest action on offer inside the Octagon has seen some climb the ladder toward contention and others fall away.

And in the aftermath of UFC 306 (Noche UFC), MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

Men’s Pound-For-Pound: Merab Dvalishvili closed out Saturday’s event with his long-awaited championship crowning. As a result, the bantamweight kingpin has debuted on the P4P list at #7, one position above interim heavyweight titleholder Tom Aspinall. Further up, welterweight champ Belal Muhammad (#5) has jumped his middleweight counterpart Dricus Du Plessis (#6).

The defeated O’Malley, meanwhile, has slid seven positions to #13. Dvalishvili’s friend and teammate Aljamain Sterling is out of the top 15 entirely following the Georgian’s arrival.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: Valentina Shevchenko is once again the flyweight queen, and she’s also back on the P4P mountaintop. “Bullet” has climbed two places back to top spot, while previous #1 Alexa Grasso has fallen to #3 following her lopsided loss to Shevchenko in their trilogy.

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

Women’s Flyweight: The sole change at 125 pounds has seen Grasso slip back to top contender status, swapping positions with now-champ Shevchenko.

Women’s Bantamweight: Norma Dumont secured the biggest win of her career in the Noche UFC featured prelim, outpointing a badly damaged Irene Aldana. The result has seen the Brazilian ascend by three positions to #5 at 135 pounds. The defeated Mexican, on the other hand, is down just one spot to #6.

Flyweight: In the male 125-pound weight class, Asu Almabayev has moved up one place to share #14 with the recently retired Matt Schnell.

Bantamweight: Like in the women’s flyweight division, the only change in the men’s 135-pound division came with the switch on the throne. With Dvalishvili now occupying it, O’Malley is the #1-ranked bantamweight.

Featherweight: The biggest climber this week is the charging Diego Lopes, who got the better of former two-time title challenger and longtime top-five contender Brian Ortega on Saturday night. The Mexico-residing Brazilian has risen by a mammoth 10 positions to #3. “T-City,” meanwhile, has been relegated to #5.

With Movsar Evloev staying put at #6, the changes have led to a two-place fall to #7 for Arnold Allen.

UFC Rankings Report: Aljamain Sterling Replaces Israel Adesanya On P4P List, Diego Lopes Falls Ahead Of Noche UFC

As always, the latest action on offer inside the Octagon has seen some climb the ladder toward contention and others fall away.

And in the aftermath of UFC Fight Night: Gilbert Burns vs. Sean Brady, MMA News has you covered with this week’s updates to the official UFC rankings.

Men’s Pound-For-Pound:  Israel Adesanya has found himself off the P4P list for the first time in years. Weeks on from his failed bid to achieve three-time champ status against middleweight kinpgin Dricus Du Plessis, “The Last Stylebender” has lost his #15 spot to former bantamweight titleholder Aljamain Sterling.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: Natália Silva’s triumph over Jéssica Andrade on Saturday was enough to elevate her into the female P4P discussion. She’s debuted in the rankings at #14, leading to Ketlen Vieira falling out entirely. Above her, Andrade has slipped by two positions to #13, providing small boosts for Kayla Harrison (#11) and Virna Jandiroba (#12).

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

Women’s Flyweight: As expected, Silva has slotted in one place outside the top five at 125 pounds, occupying Andrade’s previous position. That’s left the former strawweight queen two spots worse off at #8.

Women’s Bantamweight: After Pannie Kianzad parted ways with the UFC, she’s been removed from the 135-pound rankings. Her vacant spot has been filled by Ailín Pérez (#15). Further up, Norma Dumont (#8) has moved above her fellow countrywoman Karol Rosa (#9).

Flyweight: While he hung up his gloves this past weekend, Matt Schnell has remained ranked for the time being. His loss to Cody Durden has seen him fall three places to #13, with his victorious opponent up two spots to #12.

    Bantamweight: No changes.

Featherweight: Bizarrely, the surging Diego Lopes has fallen at 145 pounds just days out from his showdown with Brian Ortega at Noche UFC. Previously ranked #12, the Mexico-based Brazilian has dropped one place behind Bryce Mitchell. That’s despite the Arkansas native not being in action since a brutal knockout loss to Josh Emmett last December.

    Lightweight: No changes.

Welterweight: Sean Brady is within touching distance of the top five at 170 pounds following his main event win over Gilbert Burns. While he’s risen to #6, “Durinho” has fallen to #8. Lower down, Kevin Holland has returned to the rankings at #15, a spot he shares with Neil Magny. That’s despite “Trailblazer” being scheduled to stay at middleweight for the time being.

The South African has been rewarded with a five-place rise up the P4P ladder, leaving him one position above his bantamweight counterpart Sean O’Malley at #6.

Women’s Pound-for-Pound: There were moves unrelated to UFC 305 on the female P4P list, with reigning bantamweight queen Raquel Pennington suddenly dropping two places to #8, now leaving her below flyweight contenders Rose Namajunas (#6) and Erin Blanchfield (#7).

    Women’s Strawweight: No changes.

Women’s Flyweight: At 125 pounds, Viviane Araújo has been pushed out of the top 10 to #11. Her two-spot slide has paved the way for Amanda Ribas and Karine Silva to rise to #9 and #10, respectively.

    Women’s Bantamweight: No changes.

Flyweight: Kai Kara-France made an emphatic return this weekend by knocking out recent title challenger Steve Erceg inside the first round. He’s remained unmoved at #4, however. “AstroBoy,” meanwhile, has slipped to #8, swapping positions with Matheus Nicolau (#7).

    Bantamweight: No changes.

    Featherweight: No changes.

    Light Heavyweight: No changes.

Heavyweight: Jairzinho Rozenstruik made it back-to-back wins in 2024 this past weekend, outpointing home favorite Tai Tuivasa across three rounds. As a result, “Bigi Boy” has risen by two places to #10. His defeated opponent, meanwhile, finds himself three spots worse off at #13.
